Doctor Fishbein makes you feel like family. He is the best.

I’ve been coming to this practice for around or over twenty years. Since my mom took me as a kid or teen. I started seeing Alison as a new PA. She used to be so bright and caring. The last few times I’ve been in she just seemed bothered and annoyed with anything id ask of her. Last time I went was in late June for a recurrent and mysterious skin issue that was happening to my face. they asked if the med student would see me. I said no my issue seems pretty complex so I’d feel more comfortable seeing the provider for this. Alison came in visa my annoyed and said “it’s Impetigo” and gave me antibiotics. I asked for a referral to see a dermatologist and she said “just use silicon scar cream” the whole interaction was 5 maybe 10 minutes max. I accepted the diagnosis despite it being for 3- 5 year olds. Early October I ended up in the ER because the latest outbreak was so severe I couldn’t eat or drink water, or use the bathroom without immense pain. Once in the ER they administered Morphine without me even asking and diagnosed me with Becet’s syndrome, which is a very rare autoimmune disorder and the outbreaks I was having can cause strokes and blindness. Bless the staff at Hoag they ran all the tests and gave me all the right referrals, including a dermatologist. I wrote this review once before but interestingly Yelp took it down stating it seemed unlikely to have happened. Yes I completely relate to the shock of such a great degree of medical negligence that could have ended catastrophic for me if it had been a stroke or blindness that landed me in the ER and could have been. I post this review because I am sure I am not the only patient being treated like this and want to share my story and also offer a degree of accountability. You are a health care provider to help people. If you hate helping people and are so miserable with your job then find another one. But her negligence caused me great harm and could have caused much greater harm. So please learn from what I went through. Advocate for yourself. And if they won’t listen then find another doctor who will because there are plenty out there who still care and still want to help and still find joy and meaning in their jobs. Also it’s extremely shady they had the review removed. Doubt mine isn’t the only one either

Returning patient So glad to be back. Dr. Fishbein is the best. He takes time to always listen and he takes care of my health and any concerns I have.

Very friendly staff, everyone I spoke with. Also timely, appointment was at 1030 and they saw me at 1030. Really appreciate that.

Dr. Fishbein is very personable, & Caring. He takes time to explain the why, and is attentive to the Pts questions & concerns.

Dr. Fishbein is a very knowledgeable doctor who is also courteous and caring. He does not rush you and takes his time to address all of your concerns. Thanks for all that you do! We appreciate it.
