Dr. Yoshida uses state of the art testing and treatment techniques, and is best of the best in his field of expertise! He is kind, caring, patient and explains things thoroughly.

Dr Yoshida was a lifesaver for me. He quickly and accurately diagnosed my Prostate cancer. I decided right away to have it removed. Dr Yoshida has done hundreds maybe thousands prostatectomies. I also had radiation therapy plus lupron, a hormone therapy. Dr Yoshida coordinated it all . My psa has been 0-zero for almost 5 years now. I think he has saved my life.

Dr. Yoshida is an excellent doctor, but unfortunately his staff can be very inattentive. Last month, I called multiple times to get a new prescription and was ignored for 3 weeks.

Dr. Yoshida is the best of the best. He saw my elderly mother 5 years ago and recommended the removal of a bladder tumor which was successful and turned out to thankfully be benign. He was patient throughout the process and answered all of our questions. Dr. Yoshida recently saw my younger brother this week for an unrelated medical situation and my brother shared his experience with me which was also very positive. My brother had no idea that this was the same Doctor that treated our mother but I certainly did when I heard his name and will never forget this individual. Dr. Yoshida is truly impressive and I highly recommend him.

I would not recommend this urologist. He butchered my prostatectomy (per 3 other surgeons) requiring reconstructive surgery on my urethra. Within a year following his surgery I experienced biochemical recurrence. Now, less than 30 after the radical prostatectomy, my cancer is metastatic. Yoshida chose to not remove any lymph nodes or seminal vessels. I was margin positive following the very unsuccessful surgery and what were his issues post surgery: This took over 5 hours because I spent over an hour on the catheter insert (first clue his competency was stretched) and then you were a bleeder and blah blah blah. I could go on about how he arrived at the hospital 2 hours late for the surgery and how as he was scampering past me as he entered the hospital he complained that he didn't have a team assembled and he needed to locate assistants; or upon follow up in his office as he scoped me and saw what he had cause his comment was "I'm not going to touch that!" Dr Yoshida was terrific. Not only a great surgeon, but a patient Doctor who walked us through everything patiently and answered all our questions thoroughly. I recommend him highly and am very thankful he was my physician.

I have been a patient of Dr. Y for 3 yrs. At first the office staff was not very friendly or communicative. But that has improved. But Dr. Y is great urologic oncology doctor and surgeon. He has carefully conducted numerous tests on my kidney, bladder, prostate system and guided me through treatment options. When I was diagosed with prostate cancer, he helped me through all the treatment options. I decided to have a radical prostectomy. Dr. Y, the staff, the hospital and did a great job.

I am now a little over 4 weeks post Prostatectomy surgery and wanted to share my experience. I could not be happier with my results and Im extemely grateful to Dr Y for his skill and dedication to providing the best possible outcome for each of his patients. I am 61 years old, physically active and in good health. My cancer was still in early stage (Gleason 6 with two spots of 7). I consider myself about 90% back to normal, and have no doubt I’ll make it to 100%. I highly recommend Dr Yoshida!

I went to Dr Yoshida with a very urgent and painful condition . His office mgr arranged for an appointment on short notice. During my visit Dr Yoshida reviewed my situation, set up a cystoscopy and surgery date within the hour. A week later I had the TURP/ vaporization procedure at Hoag Hospital. The procedure went without difficulties and I was was released the following morning. What started out as a very uncomfortable and painful condition became a non event. Minimal short term discomfort.
