List of Lalita H. Pandit's Reviews
Highly recommend getting a second opinion if you’re seeing Dr. Pandit at at Hoag Medical in Irvine, CA for Multiple Myeloma and she says you don’t have it.
I highly recommend Dr. Pandit and her staff, very professional Dr Pandit ordered and reviewed my test results in a timely manner, I never feel rushed. Thank you!!
Bad bedside manner. I have gone to her a few times and she does not listen. Jumps down your throat with her opinion and her opinion is the only correct one. I’m looking for a new hematologist now.
Very attentive. Great bedside manner.
Terrible appointment. I waited for 50 minutes and I was not called yet. Patients behind my time appointment , where the one who were called before me and it happens to me two times. The office is not following the CDC guidelines chairs are seated next to each other. I will not recommend this office to my families and friends.
She did not listen, interrupted during my entire appointment. She took what was supposed to be a 1.5hr appointment to giver my chart and made it 20 minutes with her asking questions but not listening to my responses and being very dismissive. Currently looking for a new oncologist.
Great Physician. Took time to listen and hear what I had to say
Very poor experience from the office. Poor communication. Inflexible. No holistic patient view, just want to follow process and have billable appointments. Everything needs two phone calls because the first request goes unfulfilled. My mother is the patient, she needs assistance and we (kids) manage her health care remotely. They gave her an intake packet (history, HIPPA releases, etc.) I completed the paperwork, Mom signed, and I emailed the completed packet to Dr office. When Mom went to the office they gave her the paperwork again, as if we had never given it to them already completed. I called and they "found" the original stuff. Part of the packet was authorization to use the Patient Portal. Other docs use these portals effectively. We never received the login information. It took two calls (a week apart) to get portal access. After logging in we found that Mom's upcoming appt was not in the online schedule. I called to confirm the appt, they said the portal isn't very accurate. Why use it then?Mom's other doctors realize her mental situation. They will call me when Mom is in the consultation, so I can hear and ask questions. I asked Pandit's office if this would be possible, they said yes but only on Mom's cell phone. Well Mom doesn't have a cell phone. Doesn't everyone in your office? Use your own cell phone. How hard is that? Nope, can't do it.After Mom's appt, we try to have a call with Dr to hear the results. It's not actually scheduled but done on Dr's spare time. She missed the arranged time and we have to call and remind and get rescheduled. This call is low priority to her. If you had just called me on your phone when Mom was there, this would be unneeded. Your own inflexibility caused this whole call to be necessary.I had obtained historical blood test results from her prior hematologist. Uploaded those results to the portal. Expected Dr. to have seen them. During the consultation call with me and my sister, Dr says Mom needs a bone marrow extract. We say, what about her old results? Did you compare her recent values to her history? We don't want to subject Mom to a painful test if there are other ways to determine what is going on with her. Dr. says no she hasn't seem them, but she will look and call us back. Why hasn't she seen them? I put them in the portal at least a week ago. Either pay attention to the portal, or don't give it to your patients.Days later, no word from Dr. I don't think she looked for Mom's old blood work. Called the office, told that the portal isn't very accurate. Can I fax the blood work? Fax? What's that? Hello, it's 2020. Can't you accept a PDF file via email? No, it must be Fax. After sending the fax I call the office asking if they got it. They say yes, Dr will review. Shortly after they call me back (Yes, good customer service for once!) and say Mom's blood is stable. No need for marrow extract. But she still needs to come in on that same date for a new blood test. Why? It's only 2 months since her last blood test? They argue, finally agree that 2 months is too soon and we'll do one in 4 months. I have the feeling the whole thing is seat of the pants. No plan from Dr, such as "Mom should be tested every x months." Just get in so we can get paid for an office visit. No thank you.
Very nice Doctor. Clear all your queries. Don’t panic you. Staff is also very nice and efficient!!
Dr. Pandit was fantastic.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
