I have been to 4 different gastroenterologist and Doctor Oman has been and is the most helpful with my digestive issues. Every visit I leave well informed and can always contact him via the patient portal. I have improved so much and I have my life back to enjoy rather than worry about my stomach issues. Thank you Dr Oman and the amazing staff.

Federal law calls for price transparency. As a cash patient I am calling Doctors in the OC area to compare pricing for a colonoscopy, simply asking for the list price (procedure, anesthesia rates per time, and surgery center, and general polyp/lab fees). Doctor Matthew Oman had the WORST call center. I was placed on hold 4 times consecutively, & then hung-up on. In comparison to the others-- Dr Matthew Oman's practice said "No, we cannot provide full pricing." WEIRD.

Only issue is I have been unable to have the Device MRI department at Hoag call me with an appointment time. I have called more than once and the Dr. Oman wants me to schedule an MRI. Dr. Oman and his staff are Great. Sounds like the issue is only with the MRI department at Hoag.

Excellent knowledge of digestive issues. Dr. Oman is an outstanding listener and takes time to discuss all issues. I highly recommend him to address GERD and other symptoms.

The Doctors here practice at Hoag but they are a Hoax. When you call their office they have a disclaimer stating that they are busy. No one ever picks up the phone. They suggest you leave a message and someone will call within 24 hours. Only that no one bothers returning your call. I was scheduled for a Colonoscopy with Dr. Oman from this office. The prep instructions were clear as mud. Vague and confusing. I called to get clarification and no one returned my call, I had to drive to their office just to get clarification. Also, I was told after my procedure that they would call to check on me. Not surprisingly, no one called. I would not recommend this place. No matter how awesome the Doctors are the Front Desk that faces the Public should be on top of things not like these people. Doubt if I would ever use them again.
