Memorialcare Medical Group - Irvine (Barranca)'s Online Review Report Card

May 20 Wed I appreciate thank you for responding to my call today. ***** The doctor Cindy Zia shewas very kind and considerate with my consultation yesterday. Cindy explained my situation , requested that I get the CT scan done as soon as possible so we can meet to review the results. After my appointment, I called to schedule the CT scan as instructed. However, they told me the doctor's order is not showing up in the system and that I need to obtain an authorization number from the insurance company . So i called the insurance company to explain the situation, and their response was that they cannot proceed because the doctor Cindy did not submit my order. called MemorialCare and requested that a note regarding this situation be forwarded. Despite this, I have not received any feedback whatsoever. the prescribed medication dosage was reduced to one-fourth (1/4) without my consent, so it has no effect and my symptoms have worsened. I am in so much pain and feel so sad. This is the life of an immigrant U.S.

In 2026, I transitioned from the Optum medical system to MemorialCare, and my Primary Care Physician is Dr. Zia at the MemorialCare Medical Group - Irvine (Barranca). Although the commute is slightly farther from my home compared to my previous clinic, this has truly been the right decision for my healthcare. I have visited the MemorialCare Irvine (Barranca) three times so far this year for my annual physical and women’s health exams and each visit has consistently reflected a high level of professionalism and coordination across the entire care team. 📍 Location & 🅿️ Parking: 4050 Barranca Pkwy Suite 200, Irvine, CA 92604 The clinic is conveniently located not far from the 405 freeway, making it easy to access. While the campus includes multiple buildings and the parking lot can appear busy, I have always been able to find parking without difficulty. For reference, my visits have been at the 4050 building, 2nd floor, which has been easy to navigate and well organized. 📝 Check-in Process: The check-in experience is extremely efficient. The front desk staff are consistently friendly and welcoming. Even during busier times with a line, staff members regularly acknowledge patients by greeting them and letting us know they will be right with us, which makes the wait feel more considerate and organized. On my first visit, I did need to complete several intake forms on-site. However, for subsequent visits, most of the pre-check-in and required paperwork can be conveniently completed in advance through the MyChart app, which makes the entire process much smoother and faster. 👩🏼‍🦰Clinical Assistants: On my visits, Dianna (twice) and Emma (once) assisted me before seeing Dr. Zia. They escorted me to the exam area, took my vitals (blood pressure, height, and weight), and reviewed my basic medical and medication information. Both were professional, kind, and experienced, and they made the pre-visit process smooth and comfortable. 👩🏻‍⚕️Primary Care Physician: Dr. Zia is exceptional. She is compassionate, attentive, and very thorough. Before beginning any examination, she always asks for consent, including permission to record for better clinical documentation, which reflects her professionalism and respect for patient autonomy. She listens carefully, takes time to understand concerns, and works thoughtfully to identify potential root causes. When further tests or medications are needed, she acts promptly and provides clear follow-up guidance. One thing I especially appreciate is her efficiency in communicating results. After visits and test results, she often posts detailed insights and recommendations directly on MyChart the same day, which is incredibly helpful and reassuring. Additionally, Dr. Zia speaks fluent Mandarin Chinese, which is a great advantage for patients who prefer bilingual communication. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, detail-oriented, and communicative female PCP. 💉Lab Services: Blood draws are done in-house in the same building and even on the same floor, just on the opposite side, which is extremely convenient. The phlebotomy staff are experienced and professional, making the process quick and comfortable. Overall, I highly recommend the MemorialCare Irvine team. The coordination between staff, efficiency of workflow, and quality of care are all excellent. I am very satisfied with my experience so far and feel confident continuing my care here.

The good doctor Dr. Bonnie Jan gave great answers to all my questions and she has a wonderful bedside manner. She engages at a human and a humane level. I really appreciate the awesome medical knowledge she displayed and the great medical advice she gave. One of the best doctors I have seen.

Dr. Chen is very professional, straightforward, and no-nonsense. He is a kind physician with excellent bedside manner. I highly recommend him to anyone seeking a high level of professionalism and care.

Always a good experience whenever I take my husband for his appointments. Hats off to Dr.Amol Rao and his office crew as well as their Pharmacist.They're all very kind, attentive and caring. I had an appointment today with my primary care doctor and as usual it was a positive experience with care. The customer service at check in is always easy and friendly. The medical assistants/nurses are always kind and Dr.Zia is very knowledgeable, communicative, and makes me feel comfortable to speak to her about my health and concerns. I have never had any issues at this location. I appreciate the care I receive here.

Dr. Wong is always pleasant and interested in my health & well-being.
