I had my consultation with Dr. Yoo and Mia for a breast augmentation and I can't say enough great things about them. Dr. Yoo is so caring and informative. He truly wants you to feel and look your best but also inform you of everything, unlike other consults I previously had who don't look out for your best interest and just want your money. Mia is so sweet and answers all of my questions in a timely and genuine manner. I am so excited I chose Dr. Yoo to be my surgeon. I cannot wait for my procedure in a few months! I'm only 1 month after my procedure and I can honestly say that this was one of the best decisions I've ever made in terms of enhancing my look. I was sick of always looking tired despite getting a good nights sleep. This procedure not only fixed my always tired look but also gave me an upper eyelid I never knew I always wanted. It's really remarkable what a difference it makes. If you're contemplating getting blepheroplasty stop thinking and do it. Total game changer and Dr Yoo couldn't have done a better job. Highly, HIGHLY recommend him and this procedure.

Dearest Yelpers... Dr. Michael Yoo ( Plastic Surgeon: Newport Beach) performed surgery on my upper and lower lids ten days ago. I am thrilled with my results! After months of careful research, I finally decided Dr. Yoo was the most qualified surgeon for my surgical needs. As a former operating room nurse, I know Blepharoplasty can be tricky, especially a re-do as was in my case. I needed a surgeon that would make my eyes look more youthful without making them look like they had been done. I am am so glad I found Dr. Yoo! I told him I wanted to wear eye shadow and eyeliner again but my aged, saggy lids made it almost impossible to do so. Here I am 10 days post surgery ...feeling great and grateful to Dr. Yoo for doing such an awesome job on my eye lids. I give Dr. Yoo and his staff 5 stars I will definitely see Dr. Yoo again for my future needs! Thank you Dr. Yoo, Destiny, Vanessa, and KSK Surgery Center staff! You all rock! I had a horrible experience with Dr. Yoo. He charges $100 for a consult and spent literally 10 minutes with me. He made me feel uncomfortable, and was condescending to me, and second-guessing what I was telling him. The whole consult was extremely awkward and not sensitive or empathetic. I left there feeling like I wasn't important, I wasted $100, and he didn't care, or offer any suggestions for a solution. Based on this alone, no, I would not recommend Dr. Yoo. I am actually surprised he has so many positive reviews. My experience was terrible, and I've been to MANY plastic surgeons all across Beverly Hills and Orange County, and his bedside manner was by-far the worst.

RED FLAG. "Dr" Yoo's headshot is NOT recent. He looks completely different in person. I was charged $1700 for 40 units of botox and less than half a syringe of filler. The result is atrocious and I am now in the process of getting this lumpy unsymmetrical filler dissolved. There are extremely better places in Beverly Hills for less than $1k that will handle you with more care. Lesson learned...If the place you really want to go to for a procedure usually takes a couple or few weeks to take you in be patient and don't settle for something wasteful and quick with "Dr" Yoo.

I've had a torn ear piercing on one side of my ear since I was 5 years old. Dr. Yoo was able to fix it! he gave me 2 options on how he could fix it, gave me the pros and cons to each option and what he thought would look best. I also went to him for another type of otoplasty, he said he wasn't able to perform that kind of procedure. I like that he is honest about what he can do and doesn't try to make the most $ off you regardless. The front desk staff is nice and responds very quick. They worked around my busy work schedule and accommodated me however I needed.

I had a breast lift surgery with Dr. Yoo after having consulted with several other doctors for the last few years. And I am glad I chose Dr. Yoo 1. He's honest and communicative: no sugar coasting, no guarantee, he will provide you with very detail and honest disclosures, both verbally and in writing. 2. He's very skillful, detail and experienced: I consulted with a 60+ yo doctor because of his experience, a 30+ yo doctor because of his recently trained skills and knowledge. Dr. Yoo is right in between :) he's very skillful, detail oriented, has great technique and done enough surgeries to have good experience. 3. He has a great support team: Yes, it's important to have a great team of nurses and anesthesiologist as well to make a successful surgery (I cancelled one scheduled surgery in 2018 with another doctor because of his rude nurses). 4. Post Op experience was also great. You probably would not find another doctor who is as caring as Dr. Yoo. My friend picked me up at noon after the surgery and I didn't remember anything because of the anesthesia. Dr Yoo called me later that same day to check on me and make sure I was ok; he reminded me of how to care for the incisions as I probably forgot everything due to the anesthesia. At least I still remembered who he was at that point. lol5. I'm healing very well. My scars are flat and thin. A part of it is because I ate very healthy, mostly vegetables, fruits, and some fishes... I started to eat more meats recently; but during my first 2 months I ate mostly vegetables and some fruits. The biggest credits go to Dr. Yoo's golden hands. Thanks again Dr. Yoo!

Dr. Michael Yoo did an amazing job on my breast implant removal (10year+ implants) & reconstruction. He was able to make my breast/nipple symmetrical and perky using only my breast tissue. The incisions are clean and healed really well, the "scar" is almost invisible/ seamless. Dr. Michael Yoo was very attentive pre/ post procedure, and always responded to me in a timely manner.

I consulted with Dr Yoo to have my implants removed and have a breast lift (much needed after two kids!) after I had seen some of his work online and read a number of wonderful reviews. I had promised myself I would consult with a handful of surgeons before I pick one, but I was committed to Dr Yoo after a single meeting with him. He is incredibly knowledgeable and seemed so eager to hear what results I was striving for (I was really hoping not to have another set of implants). He spent a lot of time sharing his thoughts, recommendations, but also wanted to hear what I envisioned post-op. He suggested we first deflate my saline implants, allow breast tissue to grow/expand for 1-2 months, then follow with the removal of the sacks and breast lift. At only 10 days post-op, I am already overjoyed with the results! I cannot believe the results were achieved without needing another set of implants! Dr Yoo is a true artist! His dedication to precision and perfection is unmatched. I feel so fortunate to have found him and cannot recommend him enough.

Very knowledgeable Dr and his assistant is absolutely AMAZING! I am only giving four stars for now because of an incident I experienced while coming in for a consultation. I live closer to San Diego and had an hour + drive. I arrived at the office 15 minutes before my appointment. I was coldly greeted by an OR nurse that was assisting another Dr that shares office space. She told me that Dr Yoo and his assistant had not arrived yet and that I couldn't wait inside the office, but I could wait outside the suite on a small bench across from the elevator. I asked why I couldn't wait inside she just said, because I can't. Yes, I was instructed to wait outside the suite like a dog. Considering that surgeries like these cost thousands of dollars, it was obvious this nurse exercised her privilege. Had I not paid the $100 deposit I actually would have left. So rude and unprofessional. When Dr Yoo's assistant arrived five minutes later and I explained to her how I was treated by the other Dr's nurse she was absolutely livid! She and Dr Yoo both apologized profusely, and in their defense this "nurse" works for another Dr they share an office with, but WOW I was floored and it really didn't help bring in business for Dr Yoo. I would think twice about going to any of the other doctors in that office if their nurses treat people like trash. Anyhow, I have two other Dr's that I am interviewing and will make my decision before the end of this month.
