I came to this "doctor", and was barely given a the time to speak, ask questions or garner more information from her before I was shuffled out of the office. The doctor told me I was 100% fine. Well, a month went by, and the office never once called to review my labwork, or discuss the results. I had to call this "doctor's" office several times to get through, then push them for results that they completely forgot about. The labs were not 100% fine, and they provided zero follow up for a serious issue. This office is just another in a long line of medical businesses trying their best to be a business first, while providing care last. You better believe they collect the copay right away, and file your insurance claims with all manner of additional CPTs added to squeeze your insurance for everything it offers. Care is poor, staff is negligent, and the doctor is FRIGID. Good luck, the medical industry is full of aged trust fund kids whose parents just wanted an MD behind their name.

Dr. A performed surgery which went well, she provided excellent care and followed up beyond my expectation.

Best gynecologist I've ever been to and I'm 61 so I've been to quite a few in my life. She is caring and understanding and is great at the regular medical stuff plus the alternative treatments.

Knowledge is power Suffered from blood clots in my lungs at a young age. Hormonal birth control was deemed the primary root cause. I went to see Dr. A to establish care. I had no option but the copper IUD as a form of non-hormonal birth control. Fast forward a couple years - ~35 day cycles, 8-12 days of menstruating and extreme depression. Well, that’s not normal. Dr. A said it was typical of her patients on this IUD and it’s why she didn’t like it. Advocated for myself to remove it. She advised me not to. I knew my body wanted to be all natural so I scheduled to remove it anyway. Even when I removed it she told me to consider other birth control options in the future. Well, I’m not going to risk killing myself so no thank you. Doesn’t listen to patients. Doesn’t read medical history. Don’t trust her. She is not your teammate, just another doctor with a big ego.

Dr Aszterbaum has been a god sent! I just moved to the area and trusted another Dr who had a 5 star review on many websites to continue doing my HRT, which I have been having for 5 years without a problem. This other Dr completely destroyed my hormones by lowering my testosterone and upping my estrogen. This brought on weight gain and I have been in excruciating joint pain since. I eat a clean diet and workout everyday, no reason for this other than the change in hormones. Dr Aszterbaum came into her room and listened to me and has changed everything around! Everyday I feel better and better! Dr Aszterbaum should be a 5 star review, she is amazing and I feel blessed to have found her.

My favorite gynecologist ever She is personable and so understanding of women's health as we age and menopause/hormonal issues. She doesn't rush and really just listens and offers solutions. I highly recommend her.

Dr Aszterbaum has been my doctor for 31 years. She is very detailed and thorough. She had delivered my baby, and taken great care of me through peri menopause and now menopause. She is very thoughtful and caring. She also diagnosed my early stage osteoporosis which allowed me to get it addressed immediately. Dr Aszterbaum is the best! I love her new office near Hoag at 510 Superior, NB. It's much nicer than the previous Irvine office.

Dr Aszterbaum was my OBGYN years ago. I was misdiagnosed on a simple condition that ANY gynecologist would be able to diagnose properly. I would not recommend her.
