Satoshi Kamada's Online Review Report Card

Very caring team I had to see a doctor in urgent situation. I was quickly supported and cared by Dr Kamada and all his team. I had such a wonderful experience, and I appreciate their genuine service.

Great doctor and very helpful staff!

Dr Kamada has been the family doctor for years. He's candid and straight forward, but also kind and listens to concerns. He has provided very helpful referral options. He always spends time talking with us and asking how everyone is doing. He identified a serious health issue for my husband, which others might have ignored (likely saved his life). He's also been the doctor for a major sports team in the area. Lastly, he has a great staff of nurses, who are always polite and can draw blood painlessly (it's amazing!).

I explained my condition during the physical exam. Dr.Satoshi did not provide any constructive advice or solution BUT charged me $120 for absolutely NOTHING. No referral, no suggestions, no help, everything on your own except the $120 BILL for NOTHING.

My parents used to see this doctor, and being Japanese myself, I thought he would be more understanding/helpful - but my experience was truly awful. I thought my insurance was not active at the time, so I actually threw away $200 out of pocket (still upset for paying that amout) for just few minutes for him to "listen". I was so desperate, I was about to end my life. I was explaining my symptoms and he literally said he had to go to a meeting and left! I was shocked. I think doctors that give off a vibe where they don't want to be there, in a rush, and want to leave are the worst. At the time, I was going to the ER so many times and still battling a rare neurological condition. I mean, I didn't expect him to miraculously cure me on the spot, but it was just the whole mannerism. The nurse there was more caring. Thankfully, I found a female primary doctor and she is night and day difference. I really had no clue how the healthcare system in America really worked until I started having major health issues.

I've been seeing Doctor Kamada for years. He always takes the time to review my symptoms and his recommendations have been right on.

If I could give zero ratings I would. Kamada was my dad's primary care physician and treating my dad's diabetes. Under his care, he never caught that my dad had pancreatic cancer. Upon an ER visit due to a fall, my dad was diagnosed with late stage pancreatic cancer and was gone in the same day, within a few hours, completely unexpected, and a huge shock to his family and loved ones. A proper physical and an appropriate baseline assessment is a doctor's most important skill and quality which is clearly lacking here. Find another doctor if you want any sort of decent care to stay alive.

Terrible attitude for a Doctor!

The absolute worst doctor I've ever met. Very rushed, cold, curt, and worst of all it was apparent he was uninterested in trying to help anything I came in for. I guess this is what I get for switching to an HMO plan. I read the terrible reviews yet took my chances anyway. The staff is nice and it's easy to get an appointment (I see why now). I wouldn't recommend this physician to anyone, save your time. I'm not the type to leave reviews but I've never seen such a lack of interest in a doctor in helping or offering any insight. Didn't ask questions about my symptoms and when he called to review my lab results it was a joke, it seemed like he was annoyed to even be seeing anyone and rushed off the phone.

Been seeing Dr. Kamada for years. I like his candidness, honesty, and always takes the conservative approach when diagnosing a problem.
