If my daughters and I could give Dr. Shung 10 stars we would! He is kind, honorable, ethical and trustworthy. He is very knowledgeable and genuinely looking out for his patient's best interest. We felt at ease and knew we were in good hands. Makela handles all of his scheduling and paperwork and she's a sweetheart... so patient and helpful. His equipment is state-of-the-art and the office is beautiful and peaceful. We were able to get excellent appointment times and we even saved money! They far surpassed our expectations, it was truly a wow experience... you will NOT be disappointed! It's one of those places you will want to tell your friends about!

Convenient location in Woodbury Commons, modern and clean office (pictures of the design/layout should be on Houzz), super nice and friendly orthodontist. Can't wait to bring my oldest there!

For me, finding a doctor I could trust and connected with was essential. Dr. Shung was honest and flexible to my needs. He was able to work with me on pricing and even went out of his way to fit me into the schedule when I was late. I would definitely recommend him to any family member or friend. He's simply the best.

I needed a new retainer so I went to Dr. Shung after reading his Yelp reviews. The office is gorgeous and the staff is very friendly and approachable. They answered all my questions and made me feel very comfortable. I didn't know at the time that they had a Living Social deal but they gave me the discounted price anyway! Definitely saved money. It's nice to know that they're not out to get my money! Dr Shung is amazing!

I recently used Dr. Shung's services based on a recommendation and came away very impressed with his service and professionalism. Dr. Shung demonstrated that he pays great attention to detail and is genuinely concerned with helping you. He was patient and very attentive to my questions and concerns. So far he has exceeded my expectations and I look forward to my next visit.

I took my 7 year old son to Dr. Shung today and he was wonderful! He was patient with my kids, provided crayons and coloring book to keep my daughter busy and even had snacks and drinks. His office is modern and very clean and his receptionist is professional and helpful. Dr. Shung took the time to ask me questions and do a thorough exam. Then he explained what he thought we needed to do and answered all of my questions. His bedside manner was great and my kids really liked him too. I really can't say enough good things about the experience! We are so happy to have found a trustworthy and knowledgable orthodontist!

I visited Dr. Shung's establishment yesterday for a consultation on braces. As a working college student, this is the first time of my life I've been able to afford braces myself, but had a ton of questions. Dr. Shung's receptionist Mikayla was friendly, professional, and very helpful, and Dr. Shung himself put me at ease immediately. I don't believe I have ever felt so safe, comfortable, or cared for by a doctor in adult life thus far. Dr. Shung walked me carefully through each step, asking questions about my life and situation to help me determine what I needed. He was honest with me in letting me know the work I needed (and man, do I need dental work...) without scaring me, and even let me look at the pictures and x-rays, patiently explaining what he was looking for and including a few fun facts and jokes along the way as well! I came out of what could have been a scary, difficult experience feeling relaxed, cheerful, and fully aware of the work it would take to see my smile transformed without any feelings of being rushed or pressured. All in all, I would recommend Simply Orthodontics to anyone in the OC area looking for an orthodontist who truly cares about his patients.

I went in for a consultation with Dr. Shung and realized right away that I came to the right place. He spent the time asking what my goals were and explained the processes and procedures to get it there. This is after taking photos and showing me in detail what to expect and what area needs work. I appreciate his thoroughness and his professionalism along with his humor and his thoughtfulness. I truly got a sense that he cares and he wants me to look and feel my best. I have chosen Dr. Shung to take care of my orthodontic needs and looking forward to this awesome journey of my own transformation from beast to beauty. Stay tuned...

I’ll be starting treatment with Simply Orthodontics in 2 weeks, and if my recent appointments are any indication of the full experience, I know I am in good hands. The doctor is very thorough and referred me to an oral surgeon for a minor concern. Luckily, it was nothing to worry about but I appreciate her catching something another Orthodontist missed. Dr. Mana is honest and does not suggest unnecessary treatments/add-ons like other Dental professionals, and I appreciate that. She really cares. The treatment consultant was great and very gentle while obtaining the 3D scan. My previous experience with another Ortho office was not as good. Great office overall. Thank you!
