List of Uc Irvine Health's Reviews
The staff are very professional yet friendly. I had a growth removed, with no drama and no pain after. First Class treatment by people that care.
I'm a Lvn,Rn, certified EMT fire and Rescue, as well as a bachelor's in behavior health care and science. I recommend Dr Alem to anyone who has chronic pain syndrome and needing immediate treatment assistance from a outstanding doctor. Thanks Dr Alem for getting me in so quick for appointment.
Dr. Ardith Courtney is a very bright MS expert, definitely the best in OC. She is also a good person.Ardith Courtney ***** (5-stars)Many of the receptionists & workers in the UCI system are rude, slow, and unprofessional...at the Irvine Medical Plaza and at the main hospital in Orange. The place is an organizational disaster compared to a well-run facility such as Hoag.General Staff * (1-star).Overall nurses and doctors at UCI.***** (5-stars)
On Monday, October 5th 8:45am I walked in for my 9am appointment. The mask I wore was three days old, I believed it was not effective for any kind of protections. I explained to a blond woman in a light-blue suit at check in desk if I can have a clean mask to wear. She replied “We can’t give you a mask because you are wearing one”. I removed my mask (no longer wore mask) and accidentally dropped it on the concrete floor. She demanded me to pick it up from floor and wear it. She went on to the next person in line. This is how patients being treated in UCU Medical.
This place is terrible. First of all be prepared to be rushed through your doctor visit, the nurses are in a hurry. Second, a 15 minute visit for prescription refill will cost you $550.00. Plus you will also pay a facility fee of $140.00. Don't know what that is....me neither, that is the cost you pay for the room and equipment the doctor uses on you. For me that was 15 minutes in the room, stethoscope and blood pressure. What a joke! That is $700.00 for 15 minutes.
Today was the second time I've been there for back treatment. The Doc is absolutely awesome. His knowlege and experience in His practice is dynamic. The Nurses are also very professional and very nice. They comfort you when your in pain. And they are extremly good at walking you step by step on what to do to feel good again. Mid 40s and my back after the first treatment, I felt like I had a back of a 20 year old. I highly recommend treatment here if you need it.
I needed a basic medical checkup to identify possible causes for pain I was having. I went in to the UCI medical plaza in person and asked how much it would cost for a medical checkup. The woman at the front desk claimed the visit would be no more than $120 unless I was treated by a medical doctor or I underwent diagnostics such as xrays, bloodwork.I asked three times and made absolutely sure my visit would be no more than $120. After the woman wrote down the fee of $120, I scheduled an appointment for later that evening. I was not seen by a medical doctor, but a nurse practitioner who asked a few questions and told me to turn my head right and then left, and gave me a prescription for pain. I was very pleasantly surprised that I got to be seen and received basic information to start to my medical care. After years of being deceived and overbilled by the medical industry, I thought my luck was changing.Today the $120 medical exam bill arrived claiming that I owe just under $500. UC Irvine Medical just failed. It was my test to catch the liars cheaters and thieves. I'm not paying a penny more than what I agreed to, and services that were rendered. What was hope is now gone. Will never trust UCI again.
Quality medical care at reasonable cost. Most health insurance plans accepted.
Dr. Brent Yeung refused to help my dad who was crying in agonizing pain. My dad is a good, caring man that always helps others and this Dr. will not help him during this pain?? There is a special place in hell for someone like this. Karma is a bitch Dr Evil.
Not friendly poor bed manners we are not in control!waiting times long staff has the final word

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
