Dr. Yu is extremely busy—so busy that he forgets conversations with patients and doesn’t even have time to return calls. If you’re a new patient, I wouldn’t recommend going to him because you won’t get the attention you deserve. Similarly, the receptionist Grace is also very busy; if you miss her call, good luck reaching her again. Your questions will remain unanswered. If you don’t want to waste your time, avoid choosing them. The last time I saw Dr. Yu, he told me to rule out heart issues before coming back for a certain test. Once I cleared that, I called to schedule the test, but his assistant said I didn’t need it anymore. After that, I couldn’t get in touch with him. Why I don’t need that test?Why did he change his mind? No one gave me an answer. It’s always “too busy” or “with patients.” Given how overwhelmed they already are with current patients, I suggest people look elsewhere. You won’t get proper care or attention from him, as his practice is clearly overloaded.

Dr Yu is an amazing doctor, is very good at letting you know about your procedure and explaining the results.

I have been a patient of Dr. Yu for many years. He has done several successful procedures on me. I have made appointments to see him at all of his offices, wherever I can get in since he is so booked. He LISTENS and is very patient with me. He orders the necessary tests to help figure out the problem and to make sure he has the correct and clear answer. He does not rush like most doctors. I often have LOTS of questions and he patiently answers all of them and makes sure I understand everything. He is very calm and polite. I hope he never moves or retires so I can continue to see him for my health needs. Thank you Dr. Yu for taking care of me.

I just wanted to express the satisfaction I encountered with Dr. Victor Yu and his staff at the Newport Beach location. My experience from beginning to end was great and I was extremely comfortable. Definitely recommend.
