Dr. Yu is caring about my concerns and shows great patient to explain and makes sure I understand. I visited Dr. Yu at Tustin location about a weeks go, his assistant over there is also very friendly. Comparing with back to 2019 when I did my GI and Colon Endo at San Canyon Location, I feel warm from this office staff .

Everyone is very nice and answered my questions patiently, and my nervousness is reduced to the miminum. Dr. Yu is exceptionally professional and explained everything very clearly. Thank you very much!

My mother went in for a CT scan due to her having severe pains in the abdominal area. Dr Yu & his staff never contacted her after that. After nearly a month went by, we as her family contacted Dr Yu's office. It took a few calls to get the results, then they tell us she has 2 large masses on her liver! And they just forgot to tell us?? Very unprofessional and not what we expected from a Hoag doctor. Within 2 months my mother passed away, painfully as well. How could this office and Doctor fail to let another know with these results? It's completely unacceptable!

I did both endorse- and colonoscopies on 8/19/2022. The operation started at 9:21AM before the appointed 9:30. When I waked up, My brain was clear and Dr. Yu told me that there was no polyp found in my colon and no bloody spots was found in the upper and low parts, some biopsy samples were taken and a new exam would be acted on my small intestines in about one week, I fully remembered all of these words. The recovery of my body after the operation was good.

My wife and I had endoscopy done both by Dr. Yu. His practice is excellent and took good care of us both before and after the procedures. He followed up after procedure carefully and gave us most detaile care and instructions.

Dr. Yu is an agile and perceptive doctor. He first saw my husband in the summer of 2020, when he had advanced cancer. Despite his hectic schedule, he asked my husband to do a COVID-19 test in the same afternoon and arrange an endoscopy procedure in the next 2 days. Dr. Yu is a kind and attentive doctor. In the past two years, my husband’s cancer cells had once been under control, but they came back, and they are again under control. During a follow-up consultation with Dr. Yu a few weeks ago, he said, “It’s so nice to see you.” He repeated it a few times. We knew that he was thrilled for us from the bottom of his heart. Since my husband has minor ulcers, Dr. Yu, in addition to prescribing medication, also took the trouble to list all the items of food my husband should avoid during our visit.
