Memorial Care neurology in Irvine has a professional and friendly staff. Dr Tian is always kind and friendly, and I highly recommend has skill and expertise.
Excellent doctor
I’d not recommend dr Tian at all! Before taking any medication prescribed by him do research and be cautious! It’s your mind, brain and body so take it serious! My dad who is 88 years old visited Dr. Tian for his shaking hand. His diagnosis was just a tumor due to age and not Parkinson, so he stopped the pills he was taking for parkinson. After a few months he visited dr Tian again as his hand shaking had got worse. He prescribed him Primidone which I later found out it is a medication for siezur. He did not even mention about the worst side effects of the medication so we could decide to take it or not. After taking pills for only two weeks the symptoms showed up such as dizzines, confusion, antaxia, skin rash,…we got surprised with my dad attitude and we noticed ourselves it was due to the pills and we stopped it. We informed dr Tian about it and he reacted in a way that it’s nothing to be concerned and if the symptoms continue he can see his primary care physician; meaning he did not prescribe anything wrong! It’s so disappointing to see this careless reactions! Seems like they don’t care about old people.
Dr. Tian always spends enough time with the patients. He is very patient to listen and explain to patients.
Dr Tian is a compassionate and caring physician. We are glad he is my husband’s neurologist.
I have an urgent referral to see Dr. Tian, as I do have a serious chronic health issue. I’m on medication for this issue and on my file for over 4 years now which I can’t function at all without it. He doesn’t want to refill it to me until I see him! And the first availability he is offering some time in the month of May!!
I have PPO insurance and could not get into the neurologist without an order. I flagged my request as urgent, called multiple times even got an order from my primary. A full week later and still did not get a response for an appointment. Memorial Care specialist has the worst procedure for scheduling. I had to find another neurologist.
Dr. Tian has been my neurologist for about 6 months now. He has been very helpful in the treatment and diagnosis of my migraines, facial pain, and recently occipital neuralgia. I’ve had in-office visits as well as zoom appointments. Both have gone very well. Dr. Tian took the time to listen and address my concerns and problems. He also took time to explain my meds and supplements. At my most recent visit, I brought in a list of my symptoms and he took the time to read it and explain what was going on. He also made appropriate referrals. The staff at memorial care were very friendly upon my visit. Also, when I had problems with my online portal, they were able to efficiently help me via phone call. The medical assistant I encountered was also very friendly when she checked my vitals and helped me make a follow-up appointment. Overall, it’s clear that patient care is their priority.
Very comprehensive and thorough
Dr Tian is the most caring Dr. I have known. He takes the time to listen and explains very kindly and clearly.
