Lack of confidence and inability to make a decision for a surgery that might not be even complicated and specially if it is coveted by insurance. For the same surgery, if you pay her out of your pocket, such complication becomes irrelevant. I do not recommend this doctor at all. She is always confused and unprepared when seeing the patient. She is not very skilful in taking measurements, although, the office seems fancy. Not qualified. Poor communication is another attribute. She never explains well, and she is intimated by giving compliments to her staff. She is also intimated by very highly qualified patients, and when there are questions, she is very unprepared to answer.

She is very unethical physician. The only thing is important for her is money. My experience was very painful.

Doctor rushed us and was extremely rude. I don't recommend this doctor.

Very caring and nice doctor. she spends a lot of time with her patients she explains everything 1 by 1 make sure you understand it. You feel very comfortable with her . Very trustworthy person. Highly recommend her . I wish I could give her more stars my husband usually doesn't like going to doctor but dr.Ghiasi makes everyone feel so comfortable. He didn't wait at all, as soon as he walked in he was called to be sern.Thank you for all you do for your patients. I also need to mention Taraneh , Very good at her job very patient and cares a lot. Thank you for evey single one of you.

Please learn how to respect other people’s time and when you book an appointment just be on time

The doctor is so rude and unprofessional. Not recommending this practice. I personally don't want to support a business who doesn't care about other people' time.

The very First thing any professional person should know is respecting other people's time when you make an appointment for a certain time that doesn't mean to show up an hour early or an hour late. Please practice on understanding other people time matter and it's important to respect that Have a good day

I am a patient who has been diagnosed with Glaucoma for the past few years but 6 months ago I felt aching sensation and excessive watering in my left eye. After visiting my treating doctor he informed me that the pressure on the left eye is alarmingly high so he decided to add a few eye drops and monitor the pressure for the coming next 2 weeks. To cut the long story short short, nothing seemed to effect the high pressure and I was recommended to go through AHMED VALVE surgery. I was quite nervous and scared so I decided to get a 2nd opinion which unfortunately ended up with the same news. In September 2020 I went through the surgery and followed the instructions and eye drops religiously but my vision was and still till today is very blurry and I live in a fog utilizing only my right eye. During my last Post op check (after 4 months) doctor informed me that regretfully my eye pressure is still alarmingly high and due an scar which my body has developed the shunt or the valve is not functioning. Solution? Another scar scraping surgery. This is when I really panicked and got scared that why after going through so much, living with a blood shot eye and using 4 different eye medicated eye drops, this has to happen? I asked friends and my primary car physician to reach out for another Glaucoma specialist and I came across Dr Zahra Ghiasi’s name a few times. I forgot to mention I only have Medical insurance with limited network group of doctors and she was not contracted with them. I decided to pay out of pocket and get her opinion about my eye and believe me this has been one of the best decisions of my life and the money well spent. She checked my eye not only from her medical point of view but what impressed me more than anything was her kindness and compassionate attitude towards my feelings as a human being. Of course she needs to gather information and medical history from my previous doctors but she shed a ray of hope with her positive manner since yesterday. Maybe just maybe it would be too challenging to do something for my eye but I hope she reads my review and realizes how greatful I am. I wanted to send her some flowers as a token of appreciation but thought this is not nearly enough for her personally, expertise and humanistic nature. Thank you doctor and please keep up the awesome job.

I have been Dr Ghiasi's patient for more than five years and I could not be happier.She is one of the few Doctors that care for the quality not quantity of how many patients she sees every day. She listens to every patient and she would take her time to address every concerns, there for you can't really complain the wait time because she would do the same for you.I own four business's and I know it is impossible to completely know the work ethic of the people that I hire until they work for few months, I never had bad experience with the people that worked for her but if someone had a less than satisfactory with the office staff as some reviews suggests, that has nothing to do with the quality of the care that Dr. Ghiasi provides.I will continue to go to her office for my eyes health and care.

I have been taking my father to Dr. Ghiasi for his appointments regarding possible Cataract surgery. She has been great going over all options, spending time, answering all our questions & not rushing us in making a decision. Her office staff is also great & always available to help with anything. I recommend this office without any reservation.
