List of Carbon Health Urgent Care La Habra's Reviews
Carbon health clinic it was a great experience I made an appointment and when I arrived, they took me within a couple minutes. The PA was Mrs. V she was excellent. She took her time and examine me she gave me antibiotics for the swelling on my leg and told me if it doesn’t get better within a day or two to go to emergency, but didn’t think I needed to good advice thank you
I’ve been here twice , and so far I have not been disappointed. Staff is friendly, office is very clean. Both times, I have been attended fairly quickly due to very little or no waiting time. I recommend booking an appt through the carbon health app , makes everything much easier.
I was pleased and impressed with how quickly I was seen in the urgent care They were all great Thank you
Saw Dr. Jonathan today. I was absolutely dreading it. I was having an issue with my Cobra so I would have to pay everything out of pocket and get reimbursed later. He made the process SO much easier! He was definitely focused on helping me and not causing more stress for me while I was sick. He was quick and efficient, and went out of his way to only do the absolutely necessary so I wouldn’t be stuck with an outrageous bill. I’m very grateful for how I was treated. The little things can make a big difference!♥️
Came in with my 8-month-old who was bleeding from his mouth after a fall. We were scared and baby was upset. The nurse was so friendly and sweet with my baby, she made him smile. We were seen quickly and the PA was super informative and reassuring. Definitely recommend.
I was seen fast and the staff was friendly
Got in a little after opening to beat the crowd but service was quick and friendly all around from front desk to nurses to doctors everyone treated me like a person who needed care. I will be coming back for certain.
So quick! I was in and out in about 15 minutes. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.
The Dr.s are wonderful. But the front desk person was undertrained, rude, and condescending. She insisted that Medicare advantage insurance could not be used and I needed to pay cash. I had to have the insurance company call her. She reluctantly accepted my information and acted like she was doing me a favor. Then she still insisted Medicare advantage and HMO insurance could not be used at that office. June 14 2024 10:00 AM. I hope I don't get billed.
Beware of Carbon Health: Deceptive Billing Practices I don't usually write poor reviews, but I feel compelled to warn others about my experience with Carbon Health. I visited the La Habra location for a Covid test (which was legally required to be paid by insurance at the time it was taken). After multiple attempts to understand why I was receiving bills via email, I finally obtained a copy of the Explanation of Benefits (EOB). I discovered that Carbon Health had billed my insurance company (over two months after my visit) $718.00. The EOB states that it was denied because the charge exceeds the fee schedule or maximum allowable amount. It's worth noting that on their website, Carbon Health claims, "See our Clear Prices Before You Book," and lists a Rapid COVID NAAT test at $130 (a small fraction of the amount they billed). What's worse is that despite multiple attempts to address the issue through phone calls and diligently following their support procedures in writing via email, I have not received a single sign of cooperation or willingness to rectify the situation. Instead, all I've received are relentless bills, accompanied by threats to send them to collections if not paid promptly. After reading other reviews, it's evident that my issue of being overcharged is not unique. Fortunately for me, I only received a Covid Test, but it's a matter of principle. It's time to expose these deceptive practices. And, I recommend avoiding Carbon Health and finding an honest and fair healthcare provider.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
