Everyone is masked today, hooray! Good to see it and safer for everyone. Fingers crossed for next time.

I like this office very much. Dr. Modena is a caring doctor and Sophie and Carrie are great for shots, and it's a nice atmosphere. I just wish masking were consistent and universal here. Some patients aren't masked and the personnel aren't always (though they'll generally put it on when someone comes in). COVID is airborne & I'd love not to get it while I'm getting shots. They do put you in a private room after your shot, which is very comfy and clean, so at least I'm not exposed that long in the waiting room. But if you are high risk or immunocompromised keep this in mind! But so far so good on the shots. Very easy to schedule them, come in & be on my way.

I only have good things to say about Dr. Modena - he's attentive, works together with his patients to come up with a treatment plan that matches their goals & lifestyles, and his staff is incredibly kind and helpful. On top of that, his new office is super nice & centrally located in the UTC area. I always recommend Dr. Modena to any of my friends looking for an allergist in SD.If you're looking for a new allergist, Dr. Modena is your guy - you won't be disappointed!

Very impressed how Dr. Modena sat down with my son for such an extended period of time to truly understand not only the immediate issue (bee sting allergy), but also his history including food sensitivities. Dr. Modena ordered the test and confirmed the allergy, and provided a thorough recommendation to address it in the short term and long term. And he referred us to an allergy clinic near my son's university (including sending along all his notes) that would make things convenient for him as he began immunotherapy. We feel very fortunate to have made a connection with a physician who has a clinical expertise, empathetic demeanor, and helpful temperament.

Dr.Modena and his entire staff were absolutely tremendous throughout my entire experience. They were extremely professional and their office provided an amazing environment that exceeded all my expectations in every way. This is definitely a place I would recommend for any and all allergy concerns!

I've carried an EpiPen with me my entire life due to a diagnosed severe penicillin and shellfish allergy decades ago, and I thought it was time to get tested again when I heard that people can grow out of their allergies. So, as someone who has never seen an allergist before, I was nervous and overwhelmed, to say the least. I am so grateful to have met Dr. Modena and his awesome team who all patiently listened to my history and guided me through the testing process. Their reassurance was much needed as I went through the skin prick test, ID test, and the actual 4-hour food challenge test. And since it was literally the first time I'm going to not-accidentally eat a whole shrimp in my life, I was so anxious the day before; but they helped make me feel at ease, especially in their spa-like testing room. It was so relaxing and you can see that the practice cares about their anxious patients by the amount of thought and detail that went into this room. :) They were able to answer all my questions while being sensitive to my fears and past diagnosis, I learned so much more about penicillin/mollusks/shellfish, they provided a very comfortable environment for the whole experience, never felt rushed, and I appreciated the follow-up and thorough communication this summer. As an added bonus, it turns out, I'm not allergic to both of them anymore so I've been eating all the seafood I can possibly eat in the last month --only this time, without fearing for my life. LOL! This is so game-changing; I highly highly recommend them. Thank you Dr. Modena, Sophie, and Rose!

I've had The absolute best experience with Dr Brian Modena! I've had allergies since I was young and have never had a doctor I really loved. Dr Modena truly cares about his patients and really takes his time at each and every visit to discuss any issues I'm having at length. He's even gone out of his way to fit me into his schedule at times when I needed it. I'm so glad he's finally opened his own practice as his new office is stunning. Everyone in the office is very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend going here as I do to all my friends and family.
