Outstanding care and professionalism. Is an exceptional doctor!
I've been to Dr. Gonzalez twice now, and he and his staff are wonderful! Their office is clean and nice, the staff is kind and courteous, and their appointments are timely and efficient.
Dr. Gonzales is awesome! I went to him a few months back for Hyperhydrosis (excessive sweating) injections in my underarms. He was very kind and explained the procedure thoroughly. I love that he has a great sense of humor as well.
Not even seeing the Doctor after speaking with the front desk. Rude lady on the phone. Not answering any question regarding the consultation fee.I hate how this industry works.
So dissatisfied with my husband's post-surgery care. No return call from Dr Gonzalez's office after repeated voicemails re an infection etc. Granted it was over the Thanksgiving holiday but no excuse for no after-hour emergency call number offered on their regular voicemail. Finally received a call on Monday, the doctor recommended a topical antibiotic cream and just now received a call, 24+ hrs later, that the cream was called into the pharmacy. Seriously?
From acne to mole checks, Dr. G has treated everything within our family. His office is very comfortable and staff well trained. Would recommend him to all!
Thank you Dr. G for helping me deal with a complex psoriasis diagnosis. I appreciate the time and energy he and his staff have spent to improve my quality of life.
Two other docs could not help my son with a severe skin condition. Dr Gonzales took time to explain options and his treatment technique has changed my son's life - amazing outcome! Highest possible recommendation!
Dr. Gonzales is amazingly talented with a gentle touch. Very knowledgeable and personable staff.
Kept me waiting and did not even apologize. To add insult to injury, he only spent 5 minutes with me. Did not answer my questions. Only tried to sell me procedures. Do NOT recommend
No wait time. Efficient and competent. Pleasant and kind. I will continue to refer family, friends and patients to Dr. Gonzales. Dan Gardner, MD
To paraphrase LinkedIn - Doctor Darrell Gonzales knows nothing about dermatology. And he is very rude.I came in to see him a couple of times about a red, itchy, rash on both my arms and my upper back and he recommended two different lotions, each time, which did no good. The first lotion (first visit) was a prescription and it had a long complicated name that I can't now remember, and the second lotion he recommended (second visit) was CeraVe. At least that's the name brand he'd recommended when we were in the exam room. But, when I walked to the front counter, his assistant handed me Cetaphil, and when I said that there'd been a mistake, that Dr Gonzales actually mentioned CeraVe to me, she insisted he'd said for me to use Cetaphil. I didn't pay it any mind at the time, I figure they wanted to give me the cheap stuff, no big deal, so I used the Cetaphil (then bought my own supply and used it for weeks)... and it didn't work. Then I bought CeraVe, and it helped some, but it still didn't get rid of my rash completely. It was during this 2nd visit, while still in the exam room, that I also saw his rude side. It was as if he liked making fun of me/my skin. When he looked at my back to examine the rash there, he said in a "ew" kind of way while referring to the tinea versicolor on my lower back, "What's goin' on down there?" Then he chuckled (at me?). So I started telling him about the tinea when he cut me off and started talking about the rash and how it was probably psoriasis, even though the rash wasn't (I found out later). So I put my shirt back on and he quickly wished me luck w/ the CeraVe and said, "Ok, now I don't want to see you ever again." He chuckled again and then gave his nurse a quick and "sly" eye-contact look, as if he'd successfully delivered a hidden insult, and left the exam room. Jerk. The nurse wasn't impressed, I could tell. I felt crappy walking out to front counter though, I remember.Anyway, I'm surprised he has two - TWO - good reviews on here. There is no way those reviews are real, but if they are, good for them. They somehow got out of his office w/o being made fun of and getting decent skin treatment. The only saving grace of that office for me is his assistant. At least she didn't find his insults amusing.I really don't recommend going to this "dermatologist." He knows zero about skin conditions, and about treating people w/ respect. If I could give him zero stars, I would. Thanks for listening.
Dr. Gonzales is an excellent physician. I have seen him several times for various skin issues and found him to extremely pleasant and knowledgeable. His surgical technique is also superior.
I can't recommend Dr. Gonzales enough. He and his team all have fantastic bedside manner, always making you feel comfortable. He doesn't push unnecessary products or treatments, unlike many other dermatologists and never makes you feel like he is rushing to take care of the next patient. He manages to always make me feel like I'm the more important person in the office. How many doctors have had THAT said about them!? I always joke that I owe my skin to Dr. G.
Dr. Gonzales is outstanding! He's been treating my son's skin condition, and is always thoughtful and efficient.
I have been going to Dr. Gonzales for years. He regularly screens me for skin cancer. (I have a history with it.) The first thing to say about Dr. Gonzales is that he respects your time. I cannot ever recall waiting in his lobby. If you arrive on time, you are seen promptly. Second, he is an excellent doctor, he has helped me enormously, keeping the skin cancer at bay. Third, he is a nice man. He is always pleasant and he explains what he is doing while he does it. I have had to have several dangerous spots removed. I am used to it, nevertheless, he goes out of his way to explain what is going on and to take all steps that he can to reduce anxiety about the procedures. Skin cancer is no joke, so it is important to go with a doctor like Dr. Gonzales that takes care of business. And it is so refreshing to have a doctor that doesn't over book and make you wait.
Dr. DARRELL GONZALES IS RUDE AND SPENDS THE MOST MINIMUM TIME WITH YOU. He cant seem to get you out of his office after 2 minutes. Not much for patient care. Just business. He wants you in and he wants you out and repeat to generate money.
Dr. Gonzales was very knowledgeable, helpful and easy to talk to.I HIGHLY recommend going to him. I am very particular about my doctors, so that being said I would trust my opinion if I was you :)My appointment was swift and he left lots of time to discuss any of my personal concerns. He even gave me good rebate options to help save money.PARKING: Cash only. Dr. Gonzales' office offers $1 off.
Great Doctor and great staff. highly recommend Dr Gonzales.
Dr. Gonzales is by far the most knowledgable dermatologist I have come across. Ive had a rare skin condition for the last 20 years of my life and no doctor seemed to know what it was. I had seen several different dermatologists, and no one could give me a diagnosis. It wasnt until I saw a USCF faculty member doctor that I finally found out what it was. When I moved down to San Diego, I luckily found Dr. Gonzales and he immdediately knew what it was. I have seen him for all my other derm needs and he is all around fabulous. I highly recommend him!! Youll have no regrest!
