List of David S. Michelson's Reviews
Dr. Michelson ran tests on me I didn't know exist. Office is a very intelligent, tightly run ship. I feel safe and in good hands. These are real doctors here. Go here. This is correct patient care. This isva doctor is meritous and his whole office gives me hope and I'm trying to not die right now. Students, this is what your intelligent patients will be expecting of you. If I were to be a doctor, I'd work for free for him just to learn. I'm a brutal reviewer. I have not one negative thing to say. One thing, the signage into the building and parking isn't clear. I would call ahead and ask directions if you haven't been here before. Go here.
worst visit ever
Very professional and helpful. Gets to the problem right away.
3 years ago I went to see Dr. Michelson via a recommendation from a trusted friend. It was a very good experience. I needed cataract surgery on one eye. He explained the process, gave me the options, and we went with a laser approach. The results are fantastic (I don't need glasses at all for near or far vision in that eye). I'm back again to do my second eye. (I have a strange pattern--I'm only in my 50s, the cataracts progressed very quickly, within a few years from nothing to essentially blind, and the eyes didn't progress at the same time).
My visit with Dr. Michelson was by far the worst I have ever had with a physician! As an earlier reviewer mentioned, they try to pressure patients to schedule multiple unnecessary visits!
HORRIBLE office with completely incompetent and rude staff. Their office manager (looks like a cafeteria lady, big old with short hair and crooked teeth) is the worst. She should be fired and sent to Siberia for hard labor. The good doctor should be ashamed for hiring these people.
This practice is a big disappointment. Dr. David S. Michelson repeatedly recommended a wrong procedure (I realized it after I went for a second opinion). It was only need one office visit, but I was asked for five office visits and the office charged repeatedly for inappropriate diagnostic procedures.
I cannot recommend this doctor to anyone. Dr. David S. Michelson repeatedly recommended a wrong procedure (I realized it after I went for a second opinion). Only one office visit needed at other doctor offices, I had to visit five times to this office and the office over-charged repeatedly for my visits and inappropriate diagnostic procedures.
Dr. Michelson changed the drops I was having problems with for years. The problem turned out to be that several different companies make the generic medication that I was taking. This caused off and on problems that other doctors had been trying to figure out for years. Quick solution and now I'm much better on a simple once a day drop. He also spent time on disease prevention with me ! He obviously cares about his patients.
This doctor would not listen. I was using eye drops for years and years and my vision was stable. When I came for my 1st visit, my eye pressure was somewhat high because I forgot to use my eyedrops the night before. I told his this, but instead he insisted that I change my generic medication to brand name. I used generic for years with stable good results and had to argue with him about it. He lacks common sense, obstinate. In addition he was pushing me to do extra expensive tests which I did just recently and showed him the results. Would NOT recommend him.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
