Dr Edward Cohen is an outstanding physician. Not only is he a brilliant doctor but he is one of the most compassionate and caring physicians I have ever met. Dr Cohen truly cares about his patients and puts them at ease. His office staff and nurses were equally as kind and considerate. I highly recommend him as a urologist.

I was very dissatisfied with my doctors visit with Dr Cohen. He was an hour or two late due to an emergency surgery he had to do, which was totally fine with me. What was not fine, was that he rushed through my appointment without giving me any suggestions of medication, treatment, or empathy. He simply read my old chat from a past physcian, and just repeated that past physcians diagnosis without asking making his own diagnosis or asking me any questions.

Wait times vary from 5 to 15 minutes & are longer.. I have been encouraged by Mr. Price to be pro-active concerning followup to get test results. Staff is genial (with good senses of humor) and always professional. I would recommend Dr. Cohen's services to anyone. My experience is with the La Jolla office.

Dr Cohen seemed frustrated during my vasectomy procedure. The vasectomy turned out to be unsuccessful and now I have mod- severe daily discomfort. I am extremely unsatisfied and will be seeking a different Urologist.

I went to Dr. Cohen to correct an overactive bladder problem. He told me that a "simple procedure" known as a TURP would correct the condition. It turned out to be more than a "simple procedure" which involved two painful trips to the emergency room and an end result of my condition being worse than it was before my initial visit to Dr. Cohen. A second procedure was recommended and performed with no better result. Dr. Cohen kept assuring me the condition would improve with time. However, it has been over a year since I have had any contact with him and my condition is worse than it was before my initial visit. '
