List of Jamie Switzer's Reviews
She has been my mother doctor for a number of years I respect and admire her she never to busy for her she help manage her MS I am feel comfortable that my mother is in good hand
1st Problem: On my first office visit, Dr. Switzer was running 45 min. late. The office staff did not use the phone number I provided on the pre-registration forms and instead used an old phone number they pulled from an outdated system, so obviously they never reached me to suggest a reschedule. 2nd Problem: After waiting 4 months to get a physical, the doctor canceled for "personal reasons" the day before my appt. 3rd Problem: It took another 8 weeks to get back on her schedule for the physical. On the morning of the appointment, the doctor canceled for "personal reasons". I changed doctors immediately after that.
Dr Switzer is a pleasure to work with. She always listens to my needs and addresses my concerns. I highly recommend her!
Is it odd to say you enjoy seeing your Dr. and her staff, even when I feel so awful? I trust Dr Switzer in her evaluations and recommendations.
I saw Dr. Switzer in the Perlman Clinic, Delmar Heights office. I have been seeing her for years as my primary physician and she is excellent. She is very knowledgeable and responsive. I couldn’t ask for a better physician, and am grateful for her care.
She was very through and spent the time to make sure my issues were addressed. Her follow-up and follow through was excellent
I am so thankful I found Dr.Switzer. She genuinely listened to what I had to say. And instead of disregarding the notes I've taken over the year she actually read them. She took into consideration my tight schedule and the fact that I don't feel well makes it difficult for me to keep fighting for myself, especially when there is no end in sight. We agreed on a plan together. I left feeling very confident with my choice.
Terrible experience. Save yourself the hassle if you are a new patient. The doctor cancelled my appointment without any notification. Had to miss work for this. I waited 45 minutes after my scheduled time - only to be told that they can't complete my full physical and to reschedule another appointment to get the pap. Who does that? After paying so much for insurance- this is how you get treated. I'm in disbelief right now. I paid $25 co pay for half of an appointment.
As someone with a chronic illness and multiple co-morbidities DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR. I was misled by previous reviews and chose to see her as my new primary. There was constant invalidation of almost ALL of my problems, which I felt was because she knew I was bipolar. The cherry on top: I waited 2 and a half hours to see her only to be left doubted and disrespected. I thought I was going to cry on the way out.
Dr. Switzer has been wonderfully caring and attentive as a doctor to both myself and my 80-year-old ailing mother. She is intelligent, thoughtful, and always engaged in our well-being. Supporting her is the absolute BEST assistant in the world - Jennifer. She is always on top of things and pro-active. Many thanks to both!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
