Dr. Michael Maywood has been my primary care physician for almost 20 years. I have a lot of autoimmune disorders and in the past some doctors have refused to monitor my health since my case was complicated. Dr. Maywood welcomed the challenges and he has been monitoring my health ever since. He is genuinely a caring physician and spends a lot of time listening to my complaints. He is extremely smart and can think out of the box to resolve the issues and if needed, he refers me to the best specialists in the area. He is truly one of a kind and he stayed beside me through my toughest moments and made me feel better. I have so much respect for him and feel so lucky and grateful that he is in charge of my health. My life would have been much harder had I not found him. Gloria and Jenny are so amazing and caring as well. The office runs very smooth and they are always available to help. The three of them make me feel like a family. If you are reading this, you have found one of the best doctors in Southern California and you will be in great hands...

Dr Maywood has been our Physician for over 20 years, he is an amazing diagnostician, super bright, truly cares about his patients and is almost always accessible. He spends quality time asking the right questions to give him the appropriate diagnosis. His follow-up is incredible and he is supported by a fantastic team that knows all his patients well and they are very accommodating. I couldn't recommend Dr. Maywood more, he was recommend to my wife and I by my father who was a top ranked Cardiologist in the LA area, he researched who would be the best Physician for us in the San Diego area and Michael was the one.

Dr. Michael Maywood and his staff are my heros. I have been seeing Dr. Maywood for over 25 years and cannot even comprehend having another Dr. He always returns emails or phone calls within an hour and I can always get an appointment within 24 hours. He spends as much time as needed during visits and addresses all my concerns and either refers me to a specialists or is able to put my concerns to rest. Gloria and Jenny run the office beautifully......the 3 of them work as a team and I always know I can count on any medical help I need 24 hrs. a day. I love them all......feel like they are family!Kay Stuart

Dr. Maywood has been my doctor for at least seven years. I adore him. He's knowledgeable and has very good gut instincts. He takes the time to talk to me about any concern I might have and I never feel hurried. I would love to be able to keep him a secret but that would be selfish.

Dr. Maywood is such a wonderful and conscientious physician. Staff is FABULOUS. Gloria and Jenny make going to the doctor fun, yes fun. Not to mention, very professional. Very cheerful, and on the ball. I wish all physicians were like Dr. Mike.

Dr. Maywood is an excellent family doctor. He has been my family doctor for about 25 years. He is an excellent MD and a good listener! Very good at diagnosing and recommending the right path to take towards other specialties and treatments. You will love this office!

DR Maywood has been my doctor for the past 4 years. He is very knowledgeable, courteous and professional. His staff, Gloria and Jenny are an absolute pleasure to deal with. With thier recent move to La Jolla there was absolutely no consideration on my part with regard to start looking for another DR.

Dr Maywood takes the time to listen and thinks outside the box. He fights for the health of his patients and is able to diagnose rare co digits due to his willingness to listen to his patient. His staff is excellent and you always feel better leaving his office even if you are still sick, if only because you know he will do everything he can to treat you.
