I waited in the room for about 40 minutes - only when I was about to leave, they notified her. She spent 10 minutes and when I had further question she did not bother to answer and was dismissive and headed to the door to leave. I cancelled my follow up, because I wouldn’t want to spend money in the future to get condescending answers

Dr. Detwiler was excellent. She took plenty of time with me to do a thorough job, patiently explaining everything and making sure I was comfortable. She was very knowledgable and I knew I could trust her.

It was my first time at this office and everything was amazing! Alex who did my hydrafacial was very friendly and knowledgeable! My skin looked and felt great. The space was clean and and everyone was very nice. Will definitely be back.

To those with rosacea and facial redness, don't hesitate to schedule V Beam Perfecta treatments with Dr. Susan Stuart! I am a 64 year old male who has had severe rosacea and facial redness and flushing for the past seven years and the V Beam Perfecta under Dr. Stuart's expert guidance has been the only treatment that has cleared my skin! As those with rosacea and facial redness can relate, this condition can be debilitating. In the past, other dermatologists have prescribed for me Metronidazole, Finacea, Oracea, Mirvaso, Soolantra, Doxycycline, Avar, Isoretinoin and adrenergic antagonists and I completed a series of IPL treatments. None of these treatments resulted in any improvement for my facial redness and flushing. During my consult with Dr. Stuart I was impressed by her knowledge, professionalism and caring attitude. She diagnosed my condition as erythematotelangectatic rosacea and facial flushing and recommended one or more V Beam Perfecta treatments. The first treatment was performed by her highly capable laser specialist four weeks ago and a second treatment was performed yesterday. After the first treatment I had mild facial swelling for a few days and a few purplish marks that disappeared after one week. Two weeks after my first treatment I was amazed to see a complete reversal of my facial redness and a marked lessening in the frequency and intensity of my facial flushing! As Dr. Stuart predicted, three to four weeks after my first V Beam Perfecta treatment I noticed a return of some dilated blood vessels in my cheek areas and I decided to schedule an evaluation for a second treatment. Upon my return to LaJollaSkin, the doctor was also impressed by the dramatic improvement in my face and felt that I had about a 75% or more improvement after one treatment! Due to the severity of my original condition, a second V Beam Perfecta treatment was recommended. The intensity of the laser was increased slightly from the first treatment. I'm now one day following my second V Beam Perfecta. Again I am mildly swollen with a few purplish spots on my cheeks. The redness appears to be completely gone. This is the best that I've felt about my facial appearance in seven years! Dr. Stuart prepared me for the fact that I that I might benefit from up to four or five treatments in total, each spaced four weeks apart followed by possible occasional treatments every year or two. I absolutely will continue with more treatments as needed. To anyone with rosacea, facial redness or facial flushing, I recommend having V Beam Perfecta treatments under the direction of Dr. Stuart.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Stuart for over a year now. I had concerns with hyperpigmentation on my face. Not only did she recommend the best eye cream she also has helped brighten my complexion. I’ve been seeing dr Stuart for about 2 months now to combat systemic skin complications I tried everything & went to multiple dermatologists (no success) and had everything under the sun wrong with me! - exczema, cystic acne, massive white heads, tons of redness and inflammation (I looked like a big tomato head even makeup couldn’t cover it up, it made it look worse and gave me more acne), then I got shingles all over my face due to stress of the acne worsening and finally found dr Stuart. I just went to see Dr Stuart today and she beat me up good, but it is sooo good. A lil cryo here - some V Beam there. I was out in less than an hour. And guess what? In a few days, I will be looking as dashing as ever. Just in time for Thanksgiving. I can honestly say, I am thankful for Susan. Even though I had seen Dr Stuart before I remember hearing from Laura that if she didn't do anything at my visit there would be a modest consultation fee. I said, hold no quarter, she sings whenever she sees me - so its worth every penny! In all seriousness, I held onto a lot of shame from the redness & genetic imperfections that were passed on to me from my family's skin. But not no more. Don't be SHY about your looks when you aren't a SHY person. Go see Dr. Stuart. It'll be the best xmas gift you give yourself.
