Erik O Gilbertson's Online Review Report Card

I have been seeing Dr. Gilbertson here and there for several different conditions and tests for a few years. I have been very consistently impressed with his care, attentiveness, thoroughness in exam, and how personable he is, including responding to portal messages himself most of the time. My care and outcomes have always been good. Wait times are the only challenge Ive encountered but even then he’s pretty flexible about making sure you get seen.

I am new to the area and Dr. Gilbertson came highly recommended and he did not disappoint! I did have to wait a while for an appointment but he was worth it. He was very knowledgeable and kind..and he finally correctly diagnosed a skin condition that I’ve been suffering with for years. Really happy!

Great experience with Dr. Gilbertson! He's probably the most experienced doctor in his subfield in SD County. He has always done his research, reads up on files ahead of time, has tons of literature for me to review, and takes time to listen to my needs, and takes me seriously. After several in-person and virtual visits, I'm happy to report: 5-stars!

Dr. Gilbertson is a rad dude! Not just *for a dermatologist* but without the footnote. He is super high energy and a really likable guy. He is really funny and quick witted. I have never met such an engaging dermatologist before. Usually they have no personality or bedside manner at all. I can see why he is such a popular dermatologist. Thanks to Dr. Gilbertson and his staff too, they were also pretty cool. Nobody wants to be here, but they made my visit pretty great.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Dr Gilbertson! I've been to several dermatologists through the years and have had several skin issues addressed. I've had some pretty terrible experiences with other dermatologists prior to seeing Dr Gilbertson but after my first appointment with him, I no longer hated going to my annual skin appointment. He's always so upbeat and pleasant to speak with, not condescending one bit and proactive in my care. I look forward to seeing him and have referred family members

Dr. Gilbertson is the best! I can't think of enough positive things to say about my experience with him. He was patient with all my questions and concerns. All online messages but seeing him for follow up tomorrow

Weak listening skills, disheveled office environment, unable to address my urgent needs. Seemed rushed and distracted during my brief, 5 minute appointment.

I can't say enough great things about Dr. Erik Gilbertson. He is by far the most thorough and passionate dermatologist I have ever seen. My husband and I started seeing him years ago. I now take my two fair, red headed children to see him too. We are now having an issue with my daughter and Dr. Gilbertson has gone way above and beyond in following through with us and presenting referrals and calling her pediatrician to organize treatment. He has called me in person at least once weekly just to give me an update. I so appreciate having him on our team.

I have been seeing Dr. Gilbertson for many years. I have always believed he acted in my best interests. He is kind and competent, and very very thorough. He is rarely more than a few minutes behind schedule which I appreciate. I can't say that seeing a dermatologist is my favorite thing to do, but I am very happy that I have Dr. Gilbertson when I need to see one.
