Black lady, rude as hell! Don't bother going during their lunch period! I went to the ENT medical office to sign some paperwork at 12:10 the door was closed and locked so I knocked on the door, a few minutes later a black lady opened the door and said (with a pissed off condescending tone,) "we're on our lunch break comeback at 1:00" she closed and locked the door! Rude as hell! Didn't say hello, sorry, for the inconvenience, nothing! They really need compassion training customer Service training something!
3/25/24 10am. Wow. Terrible service from the lady at the front desk of suite 154. I'm not a patient, I'm a transport driver for patients. I walk in to request the status of patient. I only have his name, as all drivers only have. We do not have their date of birth or anything else. She immediately sighs and checks her computer and asks me multiple times if I have any of his info, which I don't. She then explains how it's such a common name, all in a very curt and direct tone, as if I'm bothering her. I'm not sure how their system works, but can't you check what patients are checked in currently? If not, can't you at least get up and go to the back and find out? After all this, I say thank you and she just stares at me. I then go to suite 101, their other suite. The lady there answered my question immediately and was able to see that he did not check in today. She was very kind. To the lady in suite 154. Go talk to the lady in 101 and ask her how to do your job correctly.
The best MD! Super nice and caring.
Dr. Busino is a very knowledgeable doctor and is very good with kids. I am driving 2 hrs so we can have a good pediatric ENT see my daughter. She listens to our concerns and patience with my questions(lots of them). I love that we don't have to wait a long time for an available appointment and never have to wait too long while you are there for the appointment as well. Office staffs are nice as well.
I had an excellent experience with Dr Skelton and all the assistants, trainees, and office staff/scheduling. They worked hard, were sharp, and kind. Dr. Skelton was warm and friendly, and his explanations of my options were easy to understand. These are such important qualities in a physician. I also made an error with my appointment time, and the staff was patient and flexible in helping me to still make it work. I highly recommend Dr. Skelton and this practice.
The doctors at this practice do not care about the patients needs. I got talked over my entire appointment by Omid. He did not care about my needs or my quality of life but just shut me down immediately. I do not recommend this ENT, ask your doctor for a different referral.
Dr Busino is honest, efficient, and helpful. Some other yelpers complained that she doesn't have a bedside manner, but in medicine doctors need to be efficient and direct.
Great ear, nose, and throat doctor! Highly recommend!
Talented and totally effecient Doctor and Assistants!!
I wish I had seen the negative reviews before my visit. I went to Dr. Schalch Lepe's office for a stuffed ear problem. My ear canal was clear so Dr. Schalch Lepe proposed to examine my nose (I did not have stuffed nose). He told me that he suspected my condition was due to eustachian tube dysfunction and prescribed fluticasone nasal spray. I followed his medical advice but my problem was not resolved. Few weeks later I received a bill from ENT Associates of San Diego (Dr's affiliation) for a total nearly $700, including a "procedure" of nasal endoscopy that costs $385 (it literally was a few sec nose exam...for an ear problem??!!). My entire visit felt rushed. I wasn't sure if Dr. Schalch Lepe listened to my description of symptoms. Because my condition didn't go away plus I started having tinnitus, I made an appointment with another ENT Dr. Angela Chang. She also examined my ear and nose like Dr. Schalch Lepe did. However, Dr. Chang told me my ear drum looks normal so unlikely having eustachian tube dysfunction. She was attentive and listened to my description of symptoms. She suspected that I have meniere's disease and I scheduled for a follow up. My first visit with Dr. Chang was $135. My summary for Dr. Schalch Lepe: I was rushed, overcharged, and likely misdiagnosed.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
