Glenn Cook's Online Review Report Card

I didn't get in to see Dr. Cook. I only met with his front office staff. They were 2 people, two women. They were 100% RUDE from the beginning. They were mask NAZIs in the worst sense of those words. I don't wear a mask when I'm a passenger in a car. So I did not have my mask on when I entered their office. They were anything but nice, polite, or understanding when I told them my mask was being delivered. (I had called my boyfriend from the elevator to bring my mask when he came up to sit with me.) Instead of saying "here's a mask you can wear" they told me I'd have to wait outside. When I finally put my clear plastic mask on and got up to the counter, they rudely told me that I would have to wear one of their masks and they handed me one. I put it on over my plastic mask which had been sufficient at Coronado Hospital. They said I had to remove my plastic mask. I made a smart, rude comment and they didn't like it. After I filled out my paperwork, I decided I didn't want to stay because I found out it was the first rude lady who was going to be doing my exam. I went up to the counter to advise them I didn't like their treatment of me their attitude and another worker, a man, appeared on scene. He was rude too, so I left, dropping their mask on the floor at their front door as I exited. Rude idiots! It's really too bad these review sites don't have a "zero stars" option!

I have been a patient of Dr. Cook's for many many years. Upon examination one time he discovered a pituitary tumor in my brain. I had been seeing other medical doctors previously for various problems and no one could figure out what was wrong with me! Dr. Cook DID and my husband and I will be forever grateful! I will see no other doctor! He has also performed my cataract surgeries. ??

Excellent doctor. Very thorough and detailed. Great service in all phases of the exam/visit. First class clinic atmosphere and sanitation. The staff are polite and service-oriented. Highly recommended to all!!

Great office and personnel! Dr Cook is best! I won't go anywhere else fir eye exams or anything else my eyes need!

Dr Glenn B Cook eye surgeon I had a Cataract surgery no my left eye he did a horrible job will not recommend this doctor at all for any eye surgery he even gave me the wrong prescription for Glasses. He even told me that I needed a laser surgery in del Mar and I when the laser machine broke and had to sent 15 people Home because he don't have another one. so how I have to look for another doctor to repair what he didn't do right will not recommend this doctor at all

The office has always been great to me. The doctors and techs have been excellent. I've moved on from this place because of insurance, but came back to see if they'll still repair some Polaroid sunglasses that I've bought here. It was about 2 years since I bought them, and they repaired it with no questions asked and at no charge, with very friendly service. Not sure what the other poor review people have experienced, but if you have a chance to try this place out, it's worth it.

I hate to give this doctors office even one star. They don't care about patients and are very disorganized. They also lie to patients. I will be going elsewhere.

Dr Cook treats all his patients as if they were his ONLY patient. He truly cares and made the entire process easy and reassuring. Hes not only an outstanding surgeon, hes a caring person!

I've been working with Dr. Cook for a few years consulting and treating my very difficult eyes. After lens replacements in both eyes, PRK & Lasik I would still go to him for any other necessary eye procedures. He's a great surgeon and really goes the extra mile for his patients.
