Visited Dr Wasserstrom yesterday as a new patient. My car was spit at in the parking lot, I was given the finger and cussed out (observed by the UPS guy) over a parking space. Found office, signed in, completed paperwork and waited 50 minutes before being called. The young aide that assisted me was nice and friendly. As my son and I had been sitting and waiting for some time that when the Dr finally came in my son was standing over in the corner of the small exam room his first words were "sit down you're making me nervous". What?!. You could cut the tension with a knife. I was not happy with his behavior even during the exam. Needless to say we are black. After that experience I will not be going back.

In July, 2012, my regular Optometrist, Dr. Grazian, (located in Santee, CA), referred me to Dr. Jeffrey Wasserstrom, when it was determined that I had glaucoma in both of my eyes, and it was pretty bad. Dr. Wasserstrom was very patient and very thorough. He recommended lazer surgery for the glaucoma. It is now 4 years later, and I went in to see Dr. Grazian again today for a new glasses prescription and during the visit, I had my annual glaucoma tests. MY EYES ARE BETTER NOW, AS FAR AS THE GLAUCOMA IS CONCERNED, THAN THEY WERE RIGHT AFTER THE SURGERY, 4 YEARS AGO!!! IN FACT... THE PRESSURE IN BOTH EYES IS "PERFECT". Dr. Grazian, did a great job, by referring me to Dr. Wasserstrom... and I owe a great deal of thanks to Dr. Jeffrey Wasserstrom, for performing a perfect surgery for my glaucoma... and so perfect that my eyes are no longer considered to have glaucoma at all. THANK YOU DR. WASSERSTROM.

This office has the rudest staff I have ever encountered in a doctor's office. If you feel like being treated as if you are ignorant, then this is the place for you. The doctor was fine but I have to question the judgement of someone who would allow the types of people who work for him to represent his office. I'll never go back. Seeing the doctor was not worth the terrible experience with the staff.

No problem with the doctor. He's competent. The office staff however, is a nightmare. Rude and completely inefficient. I will never go back to Dr. Wasserstein because of his untrained and rude staff.
