List of MIchael H. Verdolin's Reviews
A very rude, angry and unprofessional person, who is better off for everyone, if he works as a trash collector.
No ice for you!The heavy glass door of Dr. Verdolin's office slammed the pinched nerve arm I was there to get treatment for. I tried to stop the door, and was left with a bruised hand, and my pinched nerve arm feeling like it was on fire. I was crying, and trying to collect everything that fell on the floor. His office staff just watched me, and offered no help. When my husband came in from parking the car, they told him they could not get the procedure approved, but we could pay out of pocket. My husband, seeing me crying did everything he could, and handed them a credit card to pay for the procedure out of pocket. Someone ushered me to a tiny room. I asked for ice. A woman came in and told me I wasn't going to get treatment if I didn't calm down. I asked for ice again. Dr. Verdolin and PA came in and told me to calm down or I wouldn't get my procedure. It felt like it was threat, as the doctor had me cornered in this very tiny room, he was red in the face with bulging veins that throbbed as he seemed to yell at me to calm down. I could not calm down. He refused treatment and sent me to the nearest ER. It had a 4 hour wait and was full of Covid patients. I went home and put ice on it and was better. My husband and I have called Verdolin's office multiple times asking about returning the out of pocket procedure charge, and the office continues to evade questions or return calls. Thankfully our credit card company did an investigation and said this isn't the first time they've had issues with this office. Do not go to this doctor if you want help.
My last appointment with Dr. Verdolin was to have injections in my spine. (An unnerving procedure to begin with.) Once again I had to wait a ridiculous amount of time past my scheduled appointment. As I'm laying on my belly having needles inserted into my spine, Dr. Verdolin was loudly complaining about how late he was and the dreadful traffic he was going to face. Really? You can't properly manage your time, make patients wait over an hour past their scheduled appointment time & then you complain like that during a procedure? In front of the patient? At that moment I lost all trust in the "doctor" and I will not return for any treatment from him. Absolutely not acceptable.
I was a patient there back in March. I had an appointment scheduled for back pain reliving shots. I showed up to my appointment and they had never written it in their calendar. So I was asked to reschedule but, first I would have to wait for approval from my insurance provider. I then receive in the snail mail a approval letter from my insurance, so I have been trying to reschedule since receiving the notice. No one has answered in the many times I have called nor have they returned my messages. I am now looking for a new pain management Dr..
He is the worst pain doctor in San Diego for sure. He was so ruled on the phone and did not want any info from my doctor from UCSD. When I got there they were ready to do the procedure on my right side of my face until I told them it was the lest side Quacks. Now I have talked to Alex many times about the bill and get no response. There charging me 150.00 after the insurance paid the difference for 2 phone calls that got no were for less then 3 minutes and still dealing with them I think I will go there and make a seen
BEWARE! TRAUMATIZED! Never saw Dr. Verdolin face to face. No introduction, just always staff from first point of contact. My procedure was anR C3-C7 MBB cervical pain block *practice procedure. The experience was horrific. The Needle bent while in my neck. Dr. yelled to his nurse saying , "Remove it now - (then spelled out) N-O-W! Nurse jumped into action after needle was removed, put pressure on the injection site. He said my "thick skin bent his needle!" He sounded angry. Then Dr. Verdolin plunged the next needle in so hard. Felt like he punched me. My nerves shot down my body and made me lift off the table in a jolt. I was completely prone, but still flew straight up like a cat!He didn't say anything about it til he was finished and I was being cleaned up. Nurse said Dr. Verdolin says I have ultra thick skin in my neck area. (Probably because I have so much pain over the years from my head-on car accident in 2004 which led to my neck fusion in 2007. ) The procedure itself seemed to work as it should so I need the real deal done, but I'm NOT allowing Dr. Verdolin to do it! He was a brut and his actions and demeanor are cold hearted. No caring in this office. Please avoid going here even if it's a referral! What a horrific day! This doctor has only two out of five in his reviews. I'd give none but minimum is one star to post.
Don't bother going here. It's run by PA's and Nurses and you don't ever see a Dr. unless he's doing a procedure on you. The front desk is anything but honest and I caught Alex lying to me and my insurance company multiple times over the course of 6 months as I suffered endlessly. He always had an excuse as to why my insurance company wasn't approving my procedure. When I had my insurance co. speak to ALEX on a joint call his story changed. Liar liar liar. This place is the definition of everything that is wrong with the broken healthcare system. Your just a Hampster on the endless treadmill here. Try Dr. Wynn if you actually want to see a physician and deal with staff that isn't paid to lie to your face. I found I could go to any ER in Mexico and he seen and treated by a Pain Management Dr. and I was reimbursed by my insurance company 100%, I didn't even have a co-pay. Run, don't go here and don't waste your time.
I love it . I think dr vedolin is a great dr and im very happy how he's helping me
This doctor is a FRAUD!!
I have left four messages for this office my doctor recommended this doctor and as of today nobody has had the decency to return my call! How does an office survive when people don't answer your phone and definitely don't return calls when a patient is in pain

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
