MIchael Lajin's Online Review Report Card

Dear Dr. Lajin, You are a nice human, also your assistant but your front desk/ scheduler is rude, and diffensive. I had an appointment that has been rescheduled for two times now. They supposed to send me the covid test instructions and the colonoscopy instructions but they didn't. When my operation day came "which is tomorrow" they called me blaming me for not doing the covid test and not checking my instructions from my previous operation "over a year ago" email! I'm all prepared for the operation and took a day off from my work. The schedular wanted to push the appointment for another 3 months, why? Because she forgot to follow up with the patient ahead of time. We all do mistakes, but we need to be accountable and take responsibility. I was expecting her to be respectful and helpful, especially her clients are "patients" or "cancer patients" and they might be going through alot. My appointment was cancelled, instead of trying to find me a way to get the covid test done and fit me in. Or at least apologize nicely and take responsibility of her mess. When I told that person that I won't continue with your office, she immediately responded ok we'll take you out of our charts! Its very important to ensure good front desk staff that are respectful, understanding and helpful. Otherwise, their mess will cost you 'Your Health/Life"!

ABSOLUTELY AVOID THIS PRACTICE if whatever you want to see him for is something you'd like addressed within the calendar year or sooner. I've personally been waiting 8 months now, and just had another appointment cancelled. If you can wait for months or even a year, he is supposedly very nice. But if you're in chronic pain don't expect timely solutions to it here, and be prepared to have to advocate for yourself to get a foot in the door--just getting on the schedule won't do it as that seems to be more of a prayer-and-a-hope with this office rather than an actual commitment that you'll be able to talk to him when the time comes (the assistant told me today that an appointment "isn't a guarantee" and changes every day which seems insane to me, why schedule anything then?) I was referred to him in August 2020, it is now April 2021 and I have yet to have him keep an appointment with me to actually see him. And yes, my problem is still extremely painful and ongoing. He books out 3 months in advance, which isn't unusual, but I have now had two consecutive appointments with him cancelled within three days of the appointment. They've now rescheduled me again for June 2021 and I'm not holding my breath. I am not usually someone to leave a negative review like this but I'm SO frustrated after having ANOTHER appointment cancelled within days of when it was supposed to happen I felt like I needed to warn. This doctor absolutely shouldn't be taking new patients currently, so do yourself a favor and see someone--anyone--else.

Dr Lajin is an amazing professional and unlike other surgeons, he takes his time going over the why, what, and how making sure you understand what the procedure is about. My case was complicated but he managed to use a fairly new technique to solve my issue. Very grateful to have him as my GI.

Most intelligent doctor I have ever met. Knew and understood all variances of Helicobactor Pylori than ALL of the doctors that I have ever met .

He is a Wonderful Dr. He went above and beyond. He moved mountains for me, his help has reduced a huge weight of my shoulders. I dont know how to thank him enough. His assistant Jennifer is also very wonderful. I highly recommend..

Dr. Lajin is the most focused, caring, and empathetic Dr., I have ever had. He goes above and beyond. I am a colon cancer survivor. I have been suffering for over 14 years of attacks with my stomach since. I came to Dr. Lajin and he figured my problem out in TEN MINUTES. Not only is he kind and attentive but he knows his field of medicine and is exceptional at his work. I trust him 100 percent and recommend him to all. ! He's AWESOME!!! Jill Costanzo :)

Dr. Lajin is an exceptional physician who is quick to put patients at ease. It's obvious that he is passionate about his work, showing compassion and intelligence that help with understanding medical issues.
