Knowledgeable and helpful but be prepared to wait for an hour, every time.

I've been seeing Dr Michalski for several years, and always vowed to be his healthiest patient. I called his office on a Friday morning and told them that I was having shortness of breath and a tight chest. They told me to come right over, they would fit me in. On a Friday.He saw me within15 minutes, did an EKG, and a stress test, and sent me to the ER. There, I was stabilized and on Monday he did an angiogram. He gave me a choice of bypass surgery by a cardiac surgeon or stents, and on Wednesday he put in stents. He was caring, warm, and made sure that I had all the information I needed to make my decision.I'm on the mend and will be greatful for the rest of my life. You will love this doctor.

I think he’s great and had a tremendous knowledge of medications.

I suffered from high blood pressure and I was referred to this Dr. Michalski it was the worst recommendation, they don't care about the patient, they said that they are going to call to let you know if is OK or not to drink the blood pressure prescription that they prescribed to me, because I had a problem with my blood pressure that went from high to low and they didn't know what to do, they promise me that they will call back to let me know if it was OK or not to keep taking my medication, but never did. Two days after I faint at work and I call to ask if the cardiologist could see me and they schedule me for next day and next day they canceled and offered to reschedule and I refused and now they're billing me for an appointment that I missed. I've been calling to dispute the bill and Darla has been very rude and she even hang the phone on me, she doesn't have any manners or costumer service.

I have seen Dr. Machalski for several years. Unfortunately last couple years rheumatoid arthritis is taking up my health time. His staff was very rude and very judge mental. I can’t go in there knowing that the staff is judging me and does not like me. Lots of luck. I wish the doctor a lot of luck. With staff like that I won’t visit him

5 WELL DESERVESD STARS!!! Although I’m new to the San Diego area I’ve been cared for, for years in my home state of Maryland by 1 of the best in the field in my educated opinion, and before moving here I briefly moved to Orlando, Florida for a little over 7 months where I received possibly the worst care ever. The doctor there literally changed ALL of my meds based solely on my age and weight, without talking to my former cardiologist or knowing the prescription strength of the meds that I was already on, which caused me to miss my Maryland cardiologist even more. (Not to mention that he seemed to be dancing at times while I was talking.) Dr. Michalski is a blessing, a Godsend and a very friendly educator. And not just verbally, He even broke his methods down on pen and paper to make sure I understood them. Although I’m not a doctor myself, I’ve definitely been around long enough, been cared for long enough and educated myself enough to know whether or not a cardiologist is unsure or selling me smoke, and this doctor is an absolute blessing! I truly believe that I can move on/forward from my Maryland caregivers now.

I have not seen a doc in over 20 years. I'll be honest, they scare crap outa me. Doc Mike did right by me, and my wife who is a nurse and made me go says he is the best heart doctor in San Diego. Very grateful for him.

Georgetown University medical school, US Navy veteran, and cardiac training at Scripps Clinic? I went with my dad to see Dr . Michalski and thought it was going to be a typical quick in-and-out visit with an over trained MD. What a surprise...he spent over an hour with my dad and LISTENED. So glad (and grateful)we got a referral to see Dr. M.
