List of Patrick G. Mccallion's Reviews
The review is for the front office staff ( scheduling) not the doctor himself. I have had this problem with them on more than one occasion. Im not sure who they think they are speaking with but the condescending tone is not something I need to deal with. Dr. McCallion is a good doctors it's too bad his front office staff is not. After 2 years I have found someone else ! A word to the wise you don't bite the hand that feeds you ! People call a physician for a reason, they don't need to get an attitude every time they try to schedule an appointment or to be talked back to. You'r working in a profession that requires decorum and patience, humility goes a long way. Apparently I'm not alone in my experience!
Answers my questions, attentive,
I've written a previous review before but had to write another one! I love Dr. McCallion. He's a great doctor and genuinely cares about his patients and puts a lot of effort into finding solutions to the problem. He doesn't try to just rush you out like most doctors do. You wont leave his office without having some kindove solution to the problem. He's definitely a doctor you can trust and I would highly reccomend him. Probably the best doctor I've had in years.
Dr. McCallion is pretty nice and genuine. However, one of the staff members their are extremely rude. Would reccomend going somewhere where you're not talked to so badly by a staff member.
I now have a problem with my ear that I did not have prior to going to see this doctor. I recommend researching other options for ENT within San Diego area.
Bill Nye the science guy was good for absolutely NOTHING 👌
I highly recommend Dr. Patrick Mccallion with your ENT concerns. After getting off the ventilator for 3 1/2 days last November 1, 2020 due to a heart attack it inflamed my throat and created a lot of bloody phlegm and I was breathing out of what seemed to be a straw through my throat. Even though my vitals were good I could hardly breathe and I was up for days coughing up Phlegm with a tinge of blood. I was even choking on my phlegm! After seeing Dr. Mccallion in his office and with multiple throat scope procedures, he informed me that my vocal cords were paralyzed temporarily due to the ventilator and overtime they would improve. And they did. he prescribed the proper medication for a week which in turn reduce the added swelling which is caused from was ventilator. He even ordered a CAT scan which after 2 1/2 months of being intubated and with inflammation of my throat everything is just about back to normal thanks to Dr. Mccallion proactive, caring approach. I highly recommend Dr. McCallion for any of EMT issues! And I'm extremely appreciative for all he has done for me on a proactive level..
This is the second time I've visited this practice. Once with my mother and the second with my husband. On both occasions we had the pleasure of meeting with Amy Keyes P.A.-C. Amy is a consummate professional who explains everything thoroughly. She is concerned and compassionate and makes sure you understand everything. Every person on the staff is warm and welcoming and you know from the moment you enter the facility that you are in good hands. Thank you everyone for a superior experience and for taking such good care of my loved ones.
Dr. McCallion gave me honest expectations about how long and painful recovery would be from my tonsillectomy but I finally bit the bullet and had them taken out with him only this past Monday. By day 4 I was already feeling so much better and it's only day 5 and I'm going to be switching to Tylenol for the pain soon. I was told by countless people that it would be 7 or 8 days before I felt even slightly better but I think Dr. McCallion's surgical expertise and perfect cautery of the wounds has made my recovery and pain totally manageable. I heard so many rough stories and was extremely nervous for this surgery but it went amazingly smoothly and healing is going so great! I am so so thankful! What a great experience and I couldn't be happier as I've had problems with my tonsils for most of my life. So excited to be tonsil free!
It's been a week i got surgery.dr mc callion, was great.thank u so much for caring for your patients.God bless you.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
