Dr. Hanson is the best of the best. He replaced my left hip and will be doing the right hip in the near future. He is very busy and sometimes the wait times are long. He is a very kind caring physician. The surgery was letter perfect. I am grateful to have my mobility back.

I am an 81 year old geezer who thinks a lot of Dr. Hanson. He replaced both hips some 8-9 years ago. There were no complications, and recovery was easy. Since then I have visited him for a variety of age-related orthopedic issues. His support staff is first-rate: cheery, well-organized, quite pleasant. Dr. Hanson is much sought-after, and for good reason. He is personable, knowledgeable, and seems solely focussed on your well-being. I do not think you can do any better.

Dr. Hanson and staff are wonderful. PA Ashley and therapist Ken are great. I have been going this office for the past year for knee injections. The relief was practically instantaneous. The office is clean and all protocols are observed. I feel very safe going there.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr Hanson and his entire staff! They go above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. Great bedside manners, listens to all my concerns to help me plan my recovery. I have had my hip and knee done by Dr Hanson, he’s the best!!!

Dr. Hanson and his staff are amazing! I had to have a hip replacement at a young-ish age while still working full time and with other responsibilities. Other doctors I consulted were not comfortable with an anterior-approach replacement which allowed a quicker recovery time. Dr. Hanson is one of the only San Diego surgeons experienced in the anterior-approach surgery, plus he and his staff are just a pleasure to work with. I felt extremely confident in his hands - and had a quick, full, and complication-free recovery. Thanks, Dr. Hanson!

Dr. Hanson is a good guy and excellent surgeon. Very easy to talk with and responsive to any question. After years of struggling with hip pain from arthritis and bone on bone, I had anterior hip replacement. Three months post surgery, I’m appreciating normal function of the hip, walking without pain and wondering, as many do, why I waited so long. I’ll be jumping back on my road bike next week and looking forward to a return to other athletic adventures. I would have been home the same day of surgery had it not been for a bladder issue requiring cauterization resulting from a spinal block.
