His been my son's doctor since he was a baby. My son is going to be 14 years old and h still has him as his doctor 😊

Excellent doctor.

Dr. Short always takes the time to listen. That's not easy to find in doctors nowadays. Sometimes an office visit can leave you feeling like just a number. Dr. Short isn't like that. He asks if you have questions or concerns and he LISTENS. His wealth of knowledge is impressive. Sometimes we have to wait, but it is WORTH it. He also takes the time to call you back personally when you have urgent concerns. Hes an A+, 5 star doctor.

I have been going to Dr. Short for 20 years. He is a great dr. He spends time with us and he answers all of my questions. He is also open minded about my own experiences as a parent and is willing to have an intelligent discussion about medical issues and realizes that it's the "practice" of medicine. However, the office staff in the front is horrible. They are cold and unwelcoming. If you try to talk to them or ask questions they give the impression that you are bothering them. Whenever I call the advice nurse there are a couple of issues, 1. I can't understand her because of her accent, 2. she doesn't actually have advice to give. She either puts me on hold to ask a dr or she calls me back because she has to ask a dr. I guess it's better than giving bad advice but what's the point? Also, they really need to get rid of the mildew smell in the front. Very off putting. The fish tank is old and either needs completely rebuilt or removed. I know the kids like the fish but if it's broke, fix it. They also need to drop the temperature in the front. It gets way too warm in there. They do have a lot of patients which causes long wait times.

I think Dr. Short is a very kind Dr who seems to be passionate about what he does. I think he could be a little more thorough with questions and suggestions for first time parents with their babies. I'm not really impressed with the office staff. They're not that friendly and the wait is often long. I waited over an hour for a vaccine which they said was just a walk in thing. I think they totally forgot about us and I was upset I waited that long while entertaining my 8 month old for something that literally took 30 seconds. I also don't like having to leave messages for making appointments. I would prefer to hold to speak to someone but that's not an option. They also aren't prompt to answer calls at 9:00am. You can't get through til 5-10 minutes after 9:00 which seems unprofessional to me. I like Dr. Short enough to deal with my dislikes for now but I may be looking around for a different pediatrician.

He was attentive and patient with my six year old son with ADHD; which he diagnosed. He spent a lot of time with me and my family helping us understand this disorder and is always willing to answer questions! I highly recommend Dr. Short!!!
