Dr. Kamyar is the most amazing Doctor that I've seen in the past almost 2 years of trying to diagnose chronic pain and other symptoms that no other doctor was really interested in helping me with. I've been to numerous doctors, even other GI specialists and never received the care that I have received from Dr. Kamyar and his staff. He spends as much time as needed to get to the bottom of things and told me he would not give up until we figure it out. Hands down the best in his field and the best all around. He has been the driving force of the care I've received these past few months since I've been seeing him. Thank you Dr. Kamyar and thank you to your amazing staff (especially Jennifer).

Yes, I am a fan of Dr. Kamyar himself and would actually go there more often if they would ever answer their phone. It is usually BUSY. Never happened at any other doctor's office in my experience. Impossible to deal with. The appointments are slow but it could be because he takes his time with each person. I'll give them that but the rest is ridiculous.

Waste of time, testing and needless suffering until I finally went to Hoag/Keck doctors. I drove 1 hour just to see Dr Kamyar. Then Waited over an hour and was treated very dismissive and unfriendly. It was a very dark time for me and how hard is it to show some human compassion? Dr. Kamyar prescribed a second endoscopy under anesthesia with a different younger doctor. This doctor seemed kind and helpful but after the procedure he wasn’t available and the second endoscopy did nothing but cause me more pain and worry. I was not allowed to switch doctors. The older doctor then wanted to perform a liver biopsy which I declined. Found better care elsewhere.

Most thorough doctor I have been to in years! He took the time to learn my medical history and discuss each time with me during my consultation. My colonoscopy went smoothly too!

We talked doctor-patient for about an hour. It was one of the best conversations I've ever had with anyone. Dr. Kamyar projected warmth, caring, and confidence the whole time. He did not just screen me for the recommended colonoscopy but took an interest in my total health - heart, diabetes, diet, the whole 360.

I have never had a better experience with any gastro in my life until Dr. Kamyar. Completely professional and empathetic. Refused to put me on anymore steroids after looking through my old charts, even explained to me that his sister has UC and that’s the main reason he started in the field. He asked me what I think would be the best course of treatment for a recent flare up and then gave me options to go from there. He’s very caring and does his job so well. I’m so happy to have him as my doc!
