I’m New in town( California)since his ratings are 5 stars I sent an email with no response, finally, I called they refuses to give me an appointment because they required a referral! ( office policy) I have a PPO insurance that does Not Require a referral that’s why I specifically picked that insurance, still they wanted one! Great business policy. Why do they care if my insurance doesn’t? Office policies Cannot be assessed case by case. For that reason, I gave them a one I would’ve given them a zero if I could.

Dr Elsheikh & his office staff are very professional & friendly. Their office is clean and quiet. Dr Elsheikh is personable & was able to put me at ease regarding my GI problems. I feel confident in his care.

DR. ELSHIEK, Takes the anxiety and discomfort usually experienced during minor procedures away. Due to his upbeat positive attitude and Very kind manner. He is encouraging and reassuring. My recent procedure went smoothly and I am grateful for his experienced professional care.

Would have loved to make an appointment based on all of the positive reviews, but they would not allow me to make an appointment because I didn't have referral paperwork from my primary physician. I have a PPO insurance plan, which does not require a referral in order to be covered. God forbid they allow people with choices (PPOs) to make the choice to actually come see this Dr.

Dr is compassionate, knowledgeable as well as very professional. He does not hesitate to take next indicated step, his thoroughness is beyond approach. I am very comfortable referring any friend ir family to his capable care. He can be trusted to keep his Patience's needs clearly in hand.

I highly recommend this office. Old fashioned caring and expertise. I'm in the medical community and see him as well as many doctors I know who use him as their GI doc.

I have been going to him since I was 35. He is personable and very knowledgable. I appreciate that he is interested in his work and takes an interest in your case and remembers the details even if your appointments are two years apart! I highly recommend Dr El-Sheikh

Another Dr. recommended Dr. Elsheikh, since I had a fissure that would not heal. Dr. Elsheikh is a great doctor. He is very pleasant and an extremely nice man. The colon rectal surgeon I was going to prior for hemorrhoids was not as pleasant and I was not healing.A couple of weeks after seeing Dr. Elsheikh and I am almost healed, no more bleeding. My colonoscopy was flawless in comparison to many procedures I have had in the past. In and out...with a nap. It's like nothing happened at all that morning. My last colonoscopy with another doctor was a nightmare, since I woke up in the middle of the exam. I would definitely recommend Dr. Elsheikh and his staff to my friends.

Dr. Elsheikh is a remarkably kind, patient, and insightful doctor. Very capable as a gastroenterologist, he also has a wide grasp of internal medicine, so is very aware of the effect that medications have on the GI tract and that GI medicines have on the general system.Small, one person office, but very friendly and welcoming front desk. Accessible, understanding, and smart. Highly recommended.
