List of Victor Seikaly's Reviews
Dr Seikaly is great but his office is horrible. 15 to 20 min hold times. No one calls you back, if you call when they open at 9 am it goes to the "on call service" until about 10:30 am... Terrible customer service
Haven't met the Dr yet but I'm overwhelmed by the compassion Michelle had with me. She listened and heard me. My PCP just passed away and she got me an appointment on Monday. If the Dr is anything like her I'm in great hands.
Went to Grossmont Hosital because I couldn't urinate. Was catheterized and sent home by Dr. Seikaly catheterized. He never had a urologist examine me. He just wanted to get rid of me.
Worthless dr
Dr. Seikaly is a caring physician, who listens, treats me with respect and care, and does his best to help me deal with my health problems. I have been seeing him for 20 years of quality care. That said, my only complaint is his front desk person, and his nurse, although excellent and caring, cannot keep up with the amount of work, and phone system is horrible, and frequently does not work, which is frustrating, so reluctantly take 1 star off. Sometimes my requests take longer than necessary, or i have to call them back. I have to wonder if some of these are fake reviews, or 1 disgruntled person, because the desciption of doctor is so off base.
Dr. Sekaly is the best. He listens, and does his best to get the treatment and referrals I need. Very good staff, although I think they could use more help.
3 visits, 3 fails. Went in for the flu & severe cough. From afar, not checking my breathing or anything, he sent in a RX for antibiotics. Hands off care? Went in for a swollen, painful knee from a bad fall. Again, from afar, no exam, no looking at my knee up close, he stated it doesn't look that swollen to me. What? Baseball sized lump on the back of my knee & easy to see the difference in size from other knee. Went to a different doctor. Torn minuscus. Yeah, nothing wrong with my knee. Pfffft.
I called at the beginning of Jan 2017 to schedule my annual exam. I was told that they weren't scheduling for those types of appointments yet, but that they would call me when that schedule opened up. It is now almost 2 months later and I've yet to receive a call to schedule an appointment.
I would have appreciated it if he actually looked at my records and recent test results from my other doctors so that he was clear on my multiple conditions requiring treatment. If the doctors don't actually read all of those forms you have to fill out, what is the purpose of said paperwork?Staff does not call back, lucky if you ever really get a human on the phone. Most often machine with leave a message option. Messages not returned.I like the comment from Bill S. He does seem to have a "God Complex". He does behave as if he is superior to everyone else. He is rude, impatient, and uncaring. I went in for a swollen knee that was very, very painful. He told me from the other side of the room, "your knee doesn't look that swollen to me." What? The swelling was visible through my slacks, but I had my pants leg pulled up for him to see my knee. He never examined it, he never requested xrays or other diagnostic tests. On my own, I went to a specialist. I happen to have a torn meniscus in my knee. What a horrific error. What if it had been something life threatening? I have a history of cancer, would if it had been that? Folks, be your own medical advocate. We do not have to accept dismal medical care from any provider. Stand up for your rights. Demand care, tests, treatment. Do not allow yourselves to be dismissed or stuffed under a carpet. You are worthy of proper, kind, caring, thorough medical care!
I agree with the sentiments of Desert G. I will not be recommending this physician, at least not until he gets anger management help! I wonder if he realizes that when he gets angry he begins throwing things. No patient should be subjected to that PERIOD. Thinking about getting some legal advice.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
