Dr. Kearse was very personable and engaging. He took the time to review my condition with me and suggest a surgical plan to resolve the issue. He seemed to have a very good grasp of the latest and research and was quite knowledgeable on the subject. The surgery went really well and recovery was quicker than expected. His nurse was very pleasant. I would definitely recommend Dr. Kearse.

Clean, quiet waiting room. Staff was knowledgeable, timely and attentive. Exam rooms were clean, bright and large. Dr. Kearse didn't keep me waiting. He is calm, patient and attentive. I like him.

I must urge everyone, in the strongest possible terms, to stay away from this dangerous and sociopathic surgeon. I was referred to Dr. Kearse in early 2015 by one of his colleagues. I was 33 years old at the time. I was incredibly happy, career- driven, and athletic. I had a benign urological issue that could have been easily treated by any competent urologist. Kearse immediately recommended a surgery that sounded dangerous and unnecessary to me. "I've done this for 25 years, and you are overthinking things", he callously told me. . Kearse left me no other choice than to agree to the surgery, as he did not give me any other option. He convinced me that the surgery was minimally invasive, and could not possibly result in any negative consequences. I had the surgery on April 20, 2015. I had no idea how terribly my life would be affected. After the surgery, I was immediately in agonizing pain, which I had not experienced previously. "This is all normal and you are just recovering," Kearse assured me. As the days and weeks went by, I continued to be completely unable to work, sleep, or function. Amazingly, Kearse continued to dismissively tell me that I was "just recovering", and that there was absolutely nothing out of the ordinary with what I was experiencing. What doctor tells a patient that being in agonizing pain months after a surgery is normal? This is what Kearse continued to tell me, even though he knew this to be untrue. After 2 months of unrelenting, agonizing pain, I realized that Kearse was lying to me about all of this being "normal." So, I went to a different doctor to hopefully obtain an answer for why I was in such horrible pain. The doctor I saw entered the room and said, "I am sorry to tell you this, but the reason you are in such horrible pain is because your surgeon (Kearse) left you with severe nerve damage." Shocked and in horror, I asked, "What can be done? I am in horrible pain and cannot live like this." The doctor responded, "I am sorry, there is nothing that can be done to cure this condition. You need to find out what exactly he did so that I might be able to come up with a treatment plan to minimize your pain." I cried all the way home from the doctor's office. I wrote Kearse an email and said, "I saw a doctor today who told me that your surgery resulted in severe nerve damage. He needs me to ask you what you did so that he can treat me. What do you think about this?" Kearse's response was as follows: "You have an exceptional amount of anxiety. Do everything you can to get the anxiety under control, or you will not get better." When I pressed Kearse for an answer to my question, he blocked me from emailing him. That's right. Knowing that I was in horrible, unrelenting pain as a result of what he had done to me, Kearse blocked me from emailing him. What kind of animal does such a thing to a suffering patient? It has been 3 years since Kearse's barbaric surgery. I have lost my job, my house, and my ability to function. Each day is filled with terrible pain. I have had to have a morphine pump implanted in my spine in order to lessen the agonizing pain that his surgery inflicted upon me. Prior to Kearse's surgery, I loved life, practiced martial arts, had a wonderful career, and was preparing to finish my masters degree. Gone are my ability to do these things. At 36, I am completely and permanently disabled. Not only did Kearse severely harm me unnecessarily, but he had the unmitigated gall to mock me in the aftermath. He also refused to offer any help afterwards, and when i desperately asked for help, he blocked me from emailing him. WIlfred Kearse is not only a danger to public health, he is also a despicable human being. This is evidenced by his complete lack of caring for the unnecessary and severe harm he inflicted upon me. The fact that he continues to be able to endanger innocent lives is inexcusable, and something Sharp Rees-Stealy should have to answer for. Stay away from this man. He is incompetent, dangerous, and completely lacking in compassion for human life.

After suffering from BPH for years, I was referred to Dr. Kearse. He ordered a CT scan and it showed bladder stones. He said he would laser them and do a TURP. He alerted me to the choice of general anesthesia or spinal anesthesia; I chose the latter. The date available from the hospital conflicted with my schedule and a much later date was set. Then Dr. Kearse intervened and got me scheduled sooner than the original date! The procedure went well and I recovered quickly. It's like I'm 20 again.
