Took my 92 year old mother in for dizziness. Did nothing. Suggested physical therapy. Took her to an urgent care as her condition worsened. Wow! A urine test? Blood work? Concern? Turns out she has a UTI which Dalprat could have looked into two weeks ago and saved us some heartache and stress. Not to mention he left her in extra danger of falling. Stay away.Took my 92 year old mother in for dizziness. Did nothing. Suggested physical therapy. Took her to an urgent care as her condition worsened. Wow! A urine test? Blood work? Concern? I've been a patient of Dr. Dalprat soon after he started private practice. I'm on permanent disability and have been under a doctors care for 12 years. When I first became Dr. Dalprat's patient he told me that he could prescribe all the medications needed to treat my various systems. Then he asked what I was going to do to confront my conditions. I was overweight and taking strong pain medication. My blood pressure was high and was taking cholesterol and pre-diabetic medication. Over the next 18 months, with his guidance, I lost 30lbs. Walking and diet, reduced my pain medication by a factor of 5. My blood pressure meds are a quarter of previous levels, the cholesterol medication is half and I no longer take metformin for the diabetes. He has seen me through shingles, an impacted kidney stone, UTI's and many sinus infections. He has performed PRP, OMT and I have also been hooked up to a TENS unit. He's been there when I just needed to vent about the stress of being on a fixed income and disability.Dr. Dalprat has an enthusiasm to practice family medicine. His humble, non condescending attitude, IMO, is rarely seen in medicine today. My disability will not disappear. I don't know if my lifespan has increased. My quality of life, side effects of the many medications has decreased and my perspective on life is different and in many respects better.
Talks over you, doesn’t allow you to finish your sentences, always rushed (even when I’ve been the only patient in the office). We’ve seen him several times at urgent care, for both myself and my kids. I will even call now to find out if he’s on that day, and go somewhere else if he is. He’s rude and condescending. I’m honestly shocked to find he has good reviews on here. The worst visit was when we took my son in - he said we were overreacting at his symptoms. He took my son’s pulse/ox reading and 4 out of 5 times it was dangerously low. The fifth and final reading was still low, but not as dangerous, and he ran with that one. My “mom gut instinct” was not satisfied with this answer in the least. My husband, a firefighter, is my barometer on these situations and even he said as we left the Urgent care that he wanted to take him the the ER. We did, and were told by the doctor who saw us that my son was in dangerous territory and they wanted to keep him overnight to monitor. He showed us his lung x-rays (Dalprat refused to do X-rays) and how inflamed they were. Then proceeded to say that we were right to bring him in. I called the urgent care office the next day and was told I wasn’t the first to have a major issue like this with his level of care. I don’t know why he’s still employed there. Or anywhere. His jerk-ish tendencies could somewhat be forgiven if he was a competent healthcare provider. But he’s not.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
