Just took my daughter for her 9 month check up and everything was wonderful. Dr. Russell is amazing with our baby girl and always addresses our concerns. Only thing is that they are super busy so my daughters 9 month checkup happened at 10 months and her One year check up got scheduled with the other pediatrician because Dr. Russell is completely booked in June already.

Dr Russell is absolutely amazing! I was a bit nervous bringing my daughter in for the appointment but she eased my fears, answered all my questions and calmed my daughters nerves. She is truly an amazing doctor!

Dr. Russell is truly amazing and really cares. She listens to you as a parent and really takes the time to figure out what is wrong. I took my daughter (18 months) in 6 times. 3 times to her previous pediatrician and to urgent care 3 times telling them something was wrong and she was getting worse over the course of a month (let them know every symptom I documented). She was prescribed 3 different rounds of medication and nothing seemed to work. I switched her pediatrician to Dr.Russell because I just felt like I wasn’t being heard at my daughters detriment and due to COVID her previous pediatrician wouldn’t see her in person with certain symptoms and kept calling in prescriptions even though she tested negative for COVID 3 times. In less than 30 minutes of our first appointment with Dr.Russell she figured out what was wrong and had me take my daughter immediately to the hospital. Dr. Russell called the hospital notified the doctor on what was wrong. My daughter was admitted and after 3 days of hospitalization recovered. Dr. Russell’s office staff is extremely nice and helpful. The nurses you can tell really enjoy their job and it’s not just a pay check. Everyone in this office is truly amazing. I will not take my child anywhere else.

Jean Russel is absolutely amazing. I found her per my birth doulas recommendation. She isn’t only a pediatrician but also a lactation professional which was a huge reason we wanted her for our son. We luckily didn’t have to ask her for help on our breastfeeding journey, however, my son was born with high risk jaundice and Jean was ON IT. She would even call my cell phone directly to discuss his numbers while we were tracking them through lab work. She was supportive and very informative. I learned so much from her. My son is now 15 months old and I have nothing to complain about. She is respectful, professional, great with kids, and really is one of the doctors that will put in the extra time to make sure your child is healthy.

Dr. Russell is very professional and knowledgeable. Very pleased. She works very well with my children. Only thing is the wait time. It takes almost 2 hours even just for a nurse visit. Besides that, very pleased with UCR.
