Very positive experience with Dr. Wertman.

Dr. Wertman saved my life. Excellent cardiologist, warm and personable demeanor, and a calming presence.

This was my first visit with Dr. Wertman. I was very pleased with my appointment. He listen to my concerns and had very constructive suggestions.

I have been a patient of Dr. Wertman's for many years, and have kept him as my Doctor even after having moved to Temecula. The things I most appreciate, he is very kind, patient, punctual, always listens, and explains information so that I understand. He is amazing! I highly recommend this cardiologist, Dr. Wertman and the professionalism of his staff.

I’m pleased with the results of my visit with Dr. Wertman and plan to switch insurance plans to be able to follow up in six months and continue any monitoring and necessary testing.

Taking a stress test is "stressful" but Dr Wertman and his team were very professional in the approach and put me at ease. A good job done by all, even me!!!!!

My 1st ever written negative review and i am 40+. I have waited 5-FIVE months to receive a call back,an email back , to be seen and to schedule a procedure. .I have been calling since January 2022. I have a 2 page review to post. Wish the system would allow it. Words cannot describe the care i have received. NO patient should wait 5 months for an appointment, for much needed call back to only be sent away, as they do arrive, as to reschedule.,this was Today,i was granted a visit May5th,2022,finally. However, LR scheduler told me to come to the LR office ,yet they scheduled me at the Irvine office. The Ladera Ranch office employees, the office manager, the office schedulers- Knowing i needed a follow up cardiac related procedure and be seen for other additional critical care-No one called back till Kyra has ,in May 29/22. I was told by Ralph ,the office scheduler,on multiple occasions, that Dr. Wertman was also notified by the office manager and knew of my need and urgency. I had similar experience with the LR office in the fall of 2021. I was ridiculed, laughed at and lied to by the LR office staff. As far as Dr.Wertman-seems a capable,seasoned cardiologist & surgeon,patient,smart,caring. Office is clean,with seasonal decor, spacious / not crowded waiting room. Bathrooms in the hallway.

Dr. Wertman's Ladera Ranch office staff cost him a patient. While he seems to be a capable physician who is generous with his time, the feckless and unreliable office staff has bungled too many of my urgent lab and Rx refill requests and compromised my care. As a result I was forced to find a new cardiologist. Suggest you do likewise if planning to see this practitioner in the group's Ladera Ranch offices. Can't speak for the Irvine office.
