Worst nutritionist ever. Stay far away. I have a pre-existing condition which I told her about and my meds made me gain weight in a short amount of time. She claimed to understand and have the answer- for a lot of money. Her answer was giving me hormone shots (which my gp later told me i shouldn't have done) and to eat a 500 calorie a day diet. the result? she guaranteed i would loose a pound a day. it is common knowledge that no one should eat so few calories a day, and if they did, they would go into starvation mode and gain more weight, no matter how much they worked out. When i told her this after much frustration, she looked annoyed and said this is not true for everyone. I asked several specialists and drs who confirmed this to be true. her website is severely outdated and i question her background. I would not trust this woman with my health or your money. there are plenty other nutritionists in the bay area who specialize in this and who will probably even take your insurance.
