List of Alan White's Reviews
I’ve been a patient of Dr. White for 16 years. He has the best interest in my health and well being. He is thorough and forthcoming. I trust his judgment and feel completely at ease during my visits. His office personnel are highly competent and his nurse assistant is wonderful.
Excellent service. Genuinely cares about his patients.
I was referred to Dr White in December 2005 by my PCP. I had been sick with a virus and woke up on Oct 28th with SEVERE burning back pain (later to be diagnosed as transverse myelitis, an inflamed spinal cord). He tested me for EVERYTHING....even tropical diseases and parasites since I had lived overseas. Eventually we figured out that I had caught human parvo virus; I had probably caught it volunteering in my son's classroom. Later, I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease which in conjunction with the virus, had caused the transverse myelitis. Fortunately that diagnosis was easier because everything else had been ruled out by Dr White.
GREAT, he just said this is how it is and this is how to fix it
I went to another dr in this specialty for help.
I am not sure why anyone would write a bad review about Dr. White. I am so happy toTo share my story with the world. I saw Dr. White yesterday for the first time. I had a very unique skin condition. The moment I stepped in I could tell that Dr. White was so interested to ensure he got me better. While he did his intro and then did his research he gave me the best care and plan for a recovery. He shared that my recovery plan would be to go to the hospital to get a PICC put in. Learning about this situation scared me but Dr. White was thorough, gave good reasons on why I should do this and I’m so glad I went through with what he suggested. Today was the day that I was in the hospital. after the procedure I couldn’t believe that Dr. White came to see me. When he walked through the door I had the most comforting feeling that I’ve ever had. To know that he was going to check in on me to make sure everything was going smoothly. I am sorry to anyone that had a bad experience with Dr. White. But truly understand that he has your best interest. Being an infectious disease doctor is very incredible and I am thankful for Dr. White. Dr. white assured me that we would solve my skin infection issue. I am at home right now and I have to say that with the first day of my IV antibiotics my leg is looking better. I am so thankful I saw Dr. White because he is getting me back to my beautiful self. I can’t wait to share the progress after these four weeks are up. I know that I am in the best hands possible.
If I could give a zero, I probably would. I write VERY few negative reviews; however, Dr. White fully deserves one. His bedside manner, his inability to actually listen to his patients, and quite possibly his judgement is all quite horrendous and leaves so much to be desired. When in Saddleback Hospital, if you are given him as your infectious disease doctor, please ask for another. Anyone would be better.
"I've been infectious with Chlamydia for nearly a decade now because of miscreant physicians denying proper services. And I was originally assaulted with the Chlamydia by a derelict jailbird of the sheriff's. And, on top of that, I'm a CalOptima member and designated with the Monarch Healthcare medical group, (an SSDI patient). It was a while ago, but I can remember I was referred to Dr. Alan White 'back in the day', numerous times, when I was still 'fresh'. I can remember it took a number of referrals from different PCP's until I was finally accepted to see him, which was a duration marked in years, (for an infection). When I did finally meet with him, I can remember he was strangely 'premeditative', (how he sat motionless for like a half hour in his office, where he could see me waiting in an exam room from). The Dr. White and I had but that one appointment together over my Chlamydia condition. And at that time I was already broken-in and 'doctor shopping' for the antibiotics. And once at the encounter Dr. White failed to take into consideration my condition's history and failed to understand any of my complications, (which would be what's needed to size-up a treatment plan with the antibiotics). So I ended up wheedling the CDC's 7 tablet Levaquin 'urethritis' regimen off of him. Unfortunately, I obviously was at an IDS's and in need of IV therapy with the antibiotics, for like 40 days, for "Reiter's Disease". So, Dr. White outright cheated me. I know I complained afterward, but at that point had been already 'talking to a wall' for some time with CalOptima. And, unfortunately, the doctor shopping bit didn't pan out for me either because of my blackball reaching into the pharmacist community already, (who's obviously strung into the same racket). But, today, nearly ten years after being initially infected, I'm still looking for an honest physician and the antibiotics, which I need to finally eradicate the Chlamydia. But I can say at this point, after finally stopping doctor shopping this last year, I'm finally on top of the antibiotic treatment I need and not able to be deluded by a miscreant physician trying to escort me out of his office with a 'script' ..."
Absolutely the most Brilliant & caring physician out of many physicians my father has had over the years. We TRUST his opinion over various other specialists. This Dr. unlike many others believes in saving/prolonging life of the elderly.
I went there for a visit when its my turn to go in he says your insurance is not accepted here i paid 40 dollars for uber to go here and back. He says it not our responsibility. Guess what it your responsibility to check patients insurance like every other doctor that negeligence.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
