I went in for excessive menstrual bleeding and Dr. Peters asked me if I was still considering having children I was distraught and torn (it’s a very sensitive topic) and she was very cold and rude, saying: “I’d be shocked if you went to a fertility doctor and they said you could get pregnant. You don’t even need to worry about protection when having sex because you won’t get pregnant! Sorry ??????? Of course she said the good news is we can explore other options around the bleeding (aka surgery) I left her office completely dismissed and feeling so devastated
Really impressed by Dr Peters on my first visit today. She took the time to see me and helped me understand my women's issues. Made careful recommendations and had an overall warm disposition. I really felt seen and heard and not like a number like I did with my previous OB.
She’s absolutely heartless and has horrible bedside manners. Does not care about her patients at all and will put you through agony to get any requests for procedures that I was begging for due to pain. Even other doctors were becoming frustrated with her. She didn’t care. She’s purposely forcing me to get meds from a different doctor when she’s capable of doing it. Just wants me to pay more. Don’t be a doctor if you’re not willing to help me with kindness.
I went for fibroids a few months ago and Dr. Peters was very matter of fact and didn't provide any other options just that surgery (hysterectomy) was the ONLY option. She didn't even hesitate to say that there could be other options from other doctors but that she doesn't do them and that this is what I recommend and have been trained to do. I would have preferred that she would have had better bedside manner as well. I would have also liked her to be able to explore alternatives first than to go to something so extreme like surgery. aka...first try diet, supplements. UFE, MRI ultrasound, etc....
Had excellent professional experience with Dr. Amy Peters. Great surgeon and great aftercare. I would highly recommend her. Thank you Dr. Peters!
Dr. Amy Peters is amazing! She was very caring and provided great care before, throughout, and after my pregnancy. I couldnt have asked for a better OB!
Dr. Peters is a very friendly and helpful doctor. She really takes the time to get to know you and provide you with honest feedback. It is obvious she is very knowledgeable and truly wants you to be satisfied. She helped me choose a birth control method (as there are so many) that best suits my lifestyle while providing options and letting me decide in the end. I would recommend Dr. Peters to any other woman who wants high quality and honest information.
I would definitely not recommend her for first time moms. She doesn't offer up information unless you ask the right questions. She is not an empathetic doctor. If things get tough during pregnancy, she's like yeah, that happens. It's obvious she prefers patients looking to have a natural birth (no epidural), which is fine for those patients, just not for me.
I had a great experience with Dr. Peters. She was my primary throughout my pregnancy. There were only two instances where she was at a delivery during one of my scheduled appointments and I was quickly accommodated by another doctor at the practice. She always answered my questions thoroughly and provided and open atmosphere.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
