List of Andrew Henrick's Reviews
Dr. Andrew Henrick gave my mother a death sentence. For 3 years, she visited Dr. Henrick in the hopes of alleviating her issues w/teary eyes. It must be allergies or sinusitis or simply old age; he says, after all she's in her 70's. Then it must be an eyelid issue, another issue with 'growing old' - let's do plastic surgery; he says to sew the lid so the tears drain properly. The surgery made 'seeing' more difficult & delayed an orbital cancer diagnosis. 3 years pass and a lesion can now be seen in the corner of her eye. A visit to an academically-backed ophthalmologist simply sees that her eye is bulging and not aligned with the other - a casual observation. What's wrong w/ Dr. Henrick? What's wrong...is he was too cheap to order a simple CT scan or MRI 3 years ago prior to her NOW stage4 diagnosis. Dr. Henrick, my mother died last year; an excruciating death- she suffered for years b/c you were too comfortable. 3 years and cancer spread to the eyes, sinus, brain - and all you could do is send a letter that you were sorry for what happened to her. Did you learn?

I have been a patient of Dr. Henrick for eight years in which time he has removed a cataract lens on top of the yearly visits. I do suffer from macular degeneration along with some other difficulties for which he referred me to a specialist who did perform retinal surgery on one of my eyes that resulted in improvement in my eyesight. I have always been very comfortable with his care and would recommend him to anyone in fact my wife started seeing him three weeks ago.
If you are looking for a Dr with flamboyant personality...Move-On, However if you need a very THOROUGH and HIGHLY EXPERIENCED Dr. then Dr. H really excels. I had severe Retina concerns and Dr. H confirmed what I had been diagnosed with and after seeing some Retina Images, I fully understood my prognosis. Although Dr. H did not offer much hope for vision correction, his objectivity was on par with a previous Opthamologist. My wait time was very minimal at the South Laguna office.
Took careful measurements and advised the patient. Set up a followup visit.
Dr Andrew Henrick in the process of iridotomy procedure he botched it by putting macular pucker on my left eye, and, stupid me, I let him two weeks later do same proleptic procedure on right eye, which he botched again. His excuse was, the laser did it. I never had macular degenation. This resulted in 30% loss of vision.
Dr. Henrick is everything that I have learned to dislike about medical doctors: pompous, rude, dismissive and ostentatious. He missed a very significant issue that I was having that was picked up on immediately by an optometrist.
Doctor Hendricks takes time to explain.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
