David Sabet's Online Review Report Card

He has been so helpful with my toe issues. I live out of state but pay out of pocket to see him when I'm in town, because he actually takes care of my issue.

Dr. Sabet has, over many years at one time, treated four of my family members. Three had good results previously (myself one of them). This is a well established practice and he is nearing retirement age. He is personable and well-known in the community. Despite a very active lifestyle, I had not had any any real sports injury OR foot issues in over 35 years. I suffered a recent mysterious sports injury (heel pain, Achilles pain and SUSPECTED calf tear). Dr. Sabet delayed ordering an MRI; misdiagnosed me; ordered the wrong tests of the wrong areas and refused to diagnose the WHOLE leg (ignored the calf). He put me in a boot which aggravated the calf injury (which he never even imaged!) . The boot made the foot/ankle swell even more. It is difficult to walk in if you have even MINOR lower back issues (I do). He did not treat me as a life-long athlete with a regular rigorous workout schedule. He refused to tell me what was wrong OR give me PT orders. His office suggested a knee scooter and left me to my own devices as to where to find it. The two places locally were not good. There isn't a BIG medical equipment show room nearby and I ordered one from out of state. He wouls not describe the injury (diagram - muscles etc) and in an email gave me TOTALLY false information. He abandoned me when I questioned his images and orders AND when wanted to know specifically how my injuries related; how I did it; how to prevent it in the future. After he abandon me he had the nerve to send me a bill for services which my insurance did not cover. I did not pay and will not.

Dr Sabet is an excellent doctor and very personable and I have had several procedures done. My only reason for not giving five stars is that he goes in and out of my network. I ended up paying $378 out of pocket for my last toenail removal because for that particular visit he was out of network even though his office staff said he was in network! Just saying check carefully!

They may help other patients but they sure did not help me. Whatever you do, don't buy custom orthotics. I ended up with more issues than I had before the orthotics. The person answered the call about an MRI order seemed clueless, unhelpful and very rude. The person in the front office was extremely rude. Knowing that I was there to complain about the orthotics, they had the nerve to tell me that the dr would not see me unless I paid the balance for the orthotics. The Dr was not rude but he sure did not offer any help or idea why I was in so much pain despite the XRays and MRIs and he definitely seemed very irritated when I pointed out the problems the orthotics caused. I don't know if the good reviews come from legitimate patients or not, but I would not reccomend this medical group. I was told all my problems would be solved with custom orthotics. Well, this being my third set of orthotics (all from the same medical group) , I can now tell that their orthotics absolutely did not help me and actually caused more damage to my feet and the Dr didn't even offer any help to fix that new damage caused by the orthotics other than it will go away after a while. Well I hope so

I wanted to wait until I fully healed before writing this review. As a 25 Year old nursing student, bunions were not my friend especially during those 12 hour hospital clinicals. After graduating, I decided to invest in bunion surgery for my career. I had my left foot done on January 3, 2018 and my right foot done on March 3, 2018. Dr. Sabet said that a 90 day break in between was necessary. He was also picky about what procedure to choose for me because I was fairy active and needed my feet to heal in time for my nursing job! Fast forward...after 8 weeks of physical therapy... and I'm doing yoga on both feet in June. In July, I am able to hike 6 miles uphill with no problems. In September, I hiked a 20 mile hike... No Complaints... Here and there swelling but seems to subside after a few hours. Dr. Sabet was friendly and made a scary procedure seem not scary at all. Also, thank you to the Saddleback Staff!

Saddleback sold me expensive orthotics and tried to sell me on operations on both feet. I tried their orthotics. They immediately started to cause pain, but I wore them for 45 minutes playing sports just to give them a chance. It took me 2 months of recovery to be able to get back to where I was before the 45 minute session. I sent the orthotics back to Saddleback. They wanted more money to "fit" them, but after Googling about orthotics and my problems I concluded that they were to be avoided. Now my feet are doing great. I highly recommend that you do not go by reviews, but Google your foot issues and proceed with lots of caution. I wonder if they sold my orthotics to another sucker.... never saw them again. You have to laugh even though it cost dearly. Traveling through airports was a real pain for a while.

I only saw Dr Sabet once but his advice on what to do about my problem was spot on and my feet thank him greatly. Nice staff and quick service too.

Cured foot pain that had been misdiagnosed by my primary physician and after two non-painful shots my pain has been gone for many months now.

Great guy. Likes to talk running with a runner. Will see him this week for follow up visit. Lots of confidence in him.

He gets to the problem quick!
