Dean Le, Md's Online Review Report Card

I was referred to Dr. Le for a second opinion by my husband's vascular surgeon. I was able to get an appointment within 3 weeks which was incredible. I tried to go through UCI when I went to the ER there and they told me they didn't have availability until April of 2025!! They said to call back in September and maybe I could get in sooner. I was scared and hoping for direction on what was happening to me. Dr. Le immediately put my fears at ease and spent time asking questions, taking notes and reassuring me about finding a treatable diagnosis. I was sent for an MRA and called the office to inform them I had completed the procedure. I got a follow up appointment within a week of calling. The staff was very friendly and welcoming which also made me feel like I had come to the right place. He even reassured me it was okay to have two neurologists and never feel bad about getting a second opinion. I'm so happy I did!

Cold, Arrogent and awful I had Dr. Dean Le because my favorite neurologist left the state. I had a bad experience. Dr. Dean Le is in my opinion a cold and arrogant excuse for a doctor. I had a seizure and his follow up care was terrible. When I informed his office I was going to change doctors his reaction was to NOT provide my new Neurologist with my records other than his “notes”. Pathetic excuse for a medical professional. STAY AWAY!

Dr. Dean Le has brought me back to life. After a concussion 4 years ago, I was battling debilitating migraines 3-4 days a week. He took the time to really listen to me and took me seriously. Horrible dr, Absolutely not honest. Don’t even start%

I would like to start off by saying that I am a licensed physical therapist and also a retired rehab director for a couple nursing homes in OC California. I started experiencing symptoms in my feet and legs after hurting my back in 2011. I thought that it was from my back, however, I discovered I had clonus in both legs and I felt like I was getting weak and fatigued more and more. In 2014,I had to go to permanent disability. I went to various doctors and I didn’t know what was wrong. I was referred to Doctor Le to rule out Multiple Sclerosis . He ruled out MS and referred me to Uci in 2015. Uci diagnosed me with unspecified upper neuron and Lower Motor neuron disorder, but they really didn’t do anything to help me. At the time I was taking care of my mom who had Alzheimer’s and didn’t really think about taking care of myself at the time. In the summer of 2023 my condition worsened so much that was difficult to get out of bed , walk normally , speak normally and to function. I had severe burning in both lower extremities and feet and to be honest, I had kind of given up on getting any kind of treatment that would work because I felt like there was nothing that I could do. But Dr Le was so conscientious, compassionate and detail oriented! He did all kinds of test and ruled out MS again and finally diagnosed me with Primary Lateral Sclerosis. which is a mild form of ALS. I had been searching to find out what was wrong for years; and, not only did he diagnose me properly, he gave me different types of medication and even holistic remedies such as Co enzyme 10 different forms of vitamin B that helped me!!! He is the most sincere doctor I ever been to and I’ve worked with a lot of doctors. He always thinks outside the box and every time I go to see him, he comes up with a different solution that helps me!! He’s very sincere and empathetic! The last time I went to him was so amazing! 😃I shared with him that I had an opportunity to go to a European cruise with a friend that could help me. I have never been to Europe before and always wanted to go. I told him that I bought myself an electric scooter and he literally spent almost 40 minutes going through every island that I was going to go through where my electric scooter would work and where it wouldn’t. He found a medicine that could help with my anxiety …I just can’t say enough good things about him!!!I feel this doctor is the most amazing genuine person who really cares!!! . I highly recommend this doctor!!!He makes me feel nurtured and that even though there’s nothing that can cure my illness, I feel like he’s there for me and he understands my condition. My sister comes with me to all of my doctors visits and she also agrees that he is the most caring Doctor we have both ever ever met! I’ve worked in healthcare specializing in stroke and rehab and have worked with many doctors. I’ve never met anyone as sincere as Dr Lee. He actually listens and looks you in the eye he comes up with things that truly help!!! As a physical therapist, I have dealt with with many patients with these types of diagnosis, but never felt what the patients are actually going through. And,when you go through it yourself, it could be very, very difficult and draining and very scary to the point that you just don’t know what to do. And I feel like Dr Lee is always there to help. I highly recommend him and his staff! He is the most amazing compassionate Doctor EVER!!!and I’m so grateful that he’s my neurologist! If I could give him “A Million Stars” I would !!!!😃😃😃😃

We zelled doctor Le $60 to fill out a DMV form and haven't gotten that back. It's been a month.. called them a couple days ago and the office would scatter my calls to different offices. What bothers me the most is I haven't gotten any of my test results back from the eeg.

Good doctor. Horrible staff, These people never answer the phones. Dr. Dean Le, recommended that I have an EEG an OV which is very important, the assistant gave me a paper with the date no the time. when I realize it was not time on the paper, Prior to the appointment date, I called several times, left messages, no one bother to call back, today 2/2824, I called, a new person answered, the appointment was never scheduled, so Angie, a new assistant, tried to scheduled for March 28, a month from today!!! when I asked why is Janet, Dr. Le's assistant or anyone answering my calls, the answer was, we get too many call, Janet is working for another doctor, that answer to me is unacceptable. Dr. Le also recommended and MRI to the brain, that same day, paper work for that was done, I scheduled my appointment, I got it done, i found out about my health problems through the MRI Report, the Online information sent to the doctor. Prior to that, the Dr. Also recommended a new Lab work, his assistant told me she was going to send the lab request directly to the LAB, before I left the office, that they not longer gave the lab form to the Patient???? she never did, I made my appointment got there, nothing was received, so never got the Lab work done. they do not seem to care!!! Needles to say I am going to call the insurance company.

Dr. Le has helped my life tremendously and I cannot thank him enough for finding a solution to my chronic migraines. After seeing many neurologists in the past, of which none could provide any solution to the debilitating migraines I have had for the past four years, I am happy that I found Dr. Le with his expertise. He was able to finally determine the cause of my migraines and most importantly, he has been able provide a medication plan that helped alleviate them and almost completely get rid of my migraines. I truly feel like I have my life back after so many years. I highly recommend Dr. Le.
