Not only is this doctor rude the staff is unprofessional. They lost paperwork from my kids file and then proceeded to judge me telling me I have post pardum depression based on my milk supply reduction. When I saw my own doctor she confirmed I do not have PPD and that wouldn’t effect my milk supply. This was absolutely not helpful to me or my child. Also when I questioned this doctor he told me he did not want patients that weren’t going to do as he says and I was passed off to his staff. We were there 3 times in the space that it took us to find a new pediatrician and I’m so glad we did.

When we moved back to CA 9 years ago and had our 2nd baby we were referred to Dr. Phillips by a good friend. We now have 3 kids and we still could not be happier with our experience with him and the rest of the staff. Never once have we been turned away for a same day sick appointment. Dr. Phillps is so warm talkative and welcoming. My children feel safe and comfortable with him which is so important. In addition weve invited him to some of the kids events assuming hed most likely be too busy to attend...NOPE hes come and supported our kids outside of being their doctor. I could not say enough nice things about him

Dr Phillips is a wonderful doctor. He listens remembers and respects your preferences. We drive 12 an hour to get to him and we have for over 20 years. He is the BEST

Dr. Phillips is an amazing doctor. My son age 17 actually loves going because he says that Dr. Phillips is really funny. Dr. Phillips is extremely easy to talk to caring and down to earth. He has a way of relating to my children and very knowledgable about medical issues. Dr. Phillips is amazing. We live about 30 min. from his office and still chose to travel because we are so happy with him.

Dr Phillips has been my daughters Pediatrician for 18 yearssince the day she was born. We have been up to date on all her well checks appointments have been fine and have never asked for anything extraordinary. I was very surprised and disappointed when we stopped into office and asked for a stamp on a college form and was treated horribly by the office lady. She informed us that they needed 24 hours for this request. Understand the form was already filled out and had their immunization form that verified same information was with document however she was not happy to help us. After 18 years and this is the best they could do for us. Sad how customer service isnt a priority in the health field. Just realized my daughter was just a customer not a patient. Just found a new Pediatrician for my other daughter while waiting for her to help us she did end up helping us after several moans and making us feel like we asked for a kidney. Good pediatricians are easy to find there are many in the area. Have a feeling they dont care that they just lost a patient.

I cant say enough good things about this pediatrics team The receptionists are welcoming and professional. The nurses and pediatricians have great bedside manner and always help my boys feel comfortable and at ease. I especially love Dr. Phillips. He always greets us with a smile and answers any and all of my questions. Hes very knowledgable and thorough. I recommend this Coastal Kids to every mother I talk to. Ive moved several times and have been through several pediatricians and this team hands down is the best.
