Her interest is in keeping her patients alive, but she sticks to the insurance company guidelines since she knows what they will cover. She has done some challenging excisions where BCCs grew deep in fleshy areas and she did a great job. She's very quick, highly focused.

I was referred to Dr. Algain by my dermatologist for Mohs surgery on a stem cell carcinoma. I had asked my dermatologist for a second doctor as a backup recommendation & he said he always only recommends Dr. Algarin. After my three visits to see her I could see why. My first visit for a consultation, she explained the procedure thoroughly and answered all of my questions. The second visit was the procedure which was painless & the last visit was a followup. On all visits, there was almost no waiting. The front office was great and upbeat every time. Assistants were also very excellent. I definitely recommend Dr. Algarin for anyone who needs an expert surgeon for Mohs surgery, my experience was excellent.

I just had Moh's surgery Dr. Algarin, upon recommendation from my dermatologist, and I loved this docter. If others are complaining about how super fast she is, well, that is a plus in my world. I am super busy and she knows exactly what she is doing! I thought she was terrific and her office and staff were very nice, highly professional, as was she. I highly recommend her.

Phenomenal MOHS practitioner, unbelievably efficient, excellent patient-doctor relationship, a fabulous staff that is reflective of Doctor Algarin’s expections, always a great disposition, and just a very nice person!

This lady is the best. She has performed three major procedures, 2 on my face, one on my arm, two of which were melanomas. She is all business, gets the job done with a smile and just the right humor for what otherwise is a pretty serious situation. She has examined/treated my immediate family, extended family and numerous friends. She should teach a class on what all Doctors should be!
