Duna Raoof's Online Review Report Card

I've worn glasses and contacts for 40 years and always dreamed of being able to wake, look out the window, and see the leaves on the trees without having to pop in my contacts or stumble around looking for my glasses. Last week, Dr. Raoof made that dream a reality for me. Not only was the procedure itself pain-free, but Dr. Raoof calmly talked me through each moment. Her steady hand; confident, calm, and kind guidance; and willingness to listen and be present made me feel utterly safe.The very next morning, I went into NVision Center in Laguna Woods for my post-op appointment. For the first time in my life, I had 20/20 vision in my right eye (for distance) and 20/25 in my left eye for reading. It's been a joy to read the small print on every ad I've seen (whether they be on TV or bus station benches) for the last week. Finally, at that appointment, I was singing Dr. Raoof's praises to the doctor taking care of me. Because I could finally see the quizzical look on the doctor's face, I looked down to read her name on her scrubs. (When I last 'saw' her, my glasses were off and my vision was so bad I couldn't make out the details of her expression. Lo and behold, it was Dr. Raoof. We had a good laugh. I would 100% make the same decision to get the Monovision/SMILE procedure with Dr. Raoof again. Couldn't be happier or more grateful.

On my first appointment with Dr. Raoof, I could quickly tell that she was the right choice. She is so knowledgeable and immediately put my mind at ease. I can't say enough good things about this doctor and eye center. She explained everything without my having to ask. And the Nvision eye center is state-of-the-art. I had cataract surgery yesterday in my right eye yesterday. I've still got some more healing, but I could see clearly out of that eye almost immediately. If you can get an appointment with Dr. Raoof, you won't be disappointed. There is no way I would go anywhere else.

Dr Raoof is s very caring, positive and beautiful person! I was very sensitive to have Laser work done on my eyes but she made me feel real comfortable during the procedure. Also, It was very easy to make my 2 eye surgeries with the 2 follow up appointments.

This is actually my first review on Google. I had lasik with contoura with Dr. Raoof on 5/10/21 She was extremely nice and a very talented surgeon. The whole staff at Nvision really knows what they are doing and the process was completely painless. I woke up with morning with 20/15 vison on both eyes and couldn't be happier with the results. O I also drove from the central valley to see her and it was definitely worth the drive and time. Thanks again, we will be back for my wife to get the procedure also.

I had PRK on my right eye in September. Dr. Raoof was thorough and professional. Both procedure and recovery were pain free. I had my 3 mth check-up, vision perfect, couldn’t be happier!

YES! You read that right.... same last name. This review is for Dr. Duna Raoof by her brother, Khalid Raoof. I am so proud and happy to be writing this after Duna did my eye surgery at NVision Eye Centers. It's been about a month since my treatment and as with pretty much anyone else I've talked to who's had it done, my only regret is not having done it sooner! It's hard to describe quite how incredible it is to be able to see with my renewed vision... the world looks so much more vivid and "HD" than I can ever remember. Everything is unbelievably sharper and more colorful than even my best days with glasses or contacts.Despite that I'm an active person and that my sister is a world-renowned Harvard-grad eye surgeon, I hesitated for a while to pull the trigger. I now realize I was so mistaken. What finally convinced me to do the surgery was finding out that some of my favorite athletes have done laser eye surgery including Tiger Woods and Lebron James.From my initial consultation, to the surgery itself and the brief recovery period, the process at NVision was absolutely fantastic. As much as I'd like to tease her since she's my sister, Duna was simply phenomenal. Although she was very supportive, I was most comforted knowing that she has excelled at the highest levels of training in the world and has done countless successful eye surgeries. I'll admit I was nervous going into the surgery, but the whole procedure only took about 10 minutes and I didn't feel a thing. Along with Duna, the staff at NVision was excellent and made the process so much easier than I ever imagined.I'm so thankful for my new vision... it almost feels too good to be true. My eyesight is now 20/15 (better than 20/20) and I couldn't have asked for a better result!

I couldn't recommend NVision or Dr Raoof more highly. The entire process from consultation through to procedure and follow up is seamless. You feel very well taken care of and the trust you put into their hands with such a procedure is significant. That said, I would refer friends and family any day to Dr Raoof for this procedure. It literally has changed my life within days of the operation.
