List of Jason A. Liauw's Reviews
Dr Liauw and his PAs Taylor and Haley were, and are, fantastic. I've had to visit several doctor's offices within the past 8 to 12 months not just for myself, but, for my wife as well. I can tell you that the concern they have shown towards me and to my wife has been amazing. They truly have gone above and beyond compared to all the other doctors. Now, specifically about Dr Liauw; I had significant pain not just in my middle lower back (L3, L4, L5 area) but, also that ran down first my right leg for a few months then switched over to my left leg. There were times when I had trouble walking. Anyway, one of the things I noticed immediately after surgery was there was no more pain in my legs. Understandably there was surgical pain in my back but, I could tell right away that he had resolved the issue in my back and my legs. I highly recommend Dr Liauw and his staff. They were great!
Dr. Liauw is without a doubt one of the nicest physicians I have ever seen. He is extremely kind, polite, and professional.
Dr.Liauw is an amazing doctor that provides reassuring information and care to all of his incoming patients.
I had severe sciatica for over a year resulting from some bulging discs in the lumbar region. I had visited 3 other doctors before Dr liauw who recommended invasive procedures (lumbar fusions). but dr liauw was able to take the least invasive path, performed a microdiscectomy and now I’m able to walk again! Thank you so much dr liauw!
Dr Liauw is very caring He wants to do whatever he can to make sure his patient is free of pain and he addresses all of the patient’s questions and concerns His PA’s were very responsive when we had questions. After the staples were removed my husband needed to be seen ASAP and he was given an appointment the next morning My husband is pain free! Marsha Smith
Dr. Liauw is PDA (Pretty Damn Amazing). I saw him for a second opinion after a suspected Radiology finding of Hydrocephalus. I was desperate for an accurate diagnosis and answers to an array of different symptoms that had been ongoing for nearly 1 year following a bad fall. I arrived with films from a Head CT. He viewed the films and said he did not see Hydrocephalus (stating that only a lumbar puncture could accurately diagnose). He said he suspected a neck fracture at C1-C2. He immediately ordered a Neck CT which confirmed his suspicion. Surgery was scheduled to stabilize and fuse the C1-C2 fracture. It was a 2-day hospital stay, followed by 8 weeks in a hard neck brace. All worth it. The pain is nearly gone (neck, headaches, electrical shock like pain up the back of my head). Dr. Liauw is a problem solver, an open minded critical thinker. We need more doctors like him. Thank you Dr. Liauw!
The last thing my 73 yr old husband with Parkinson’s wanted was lumbar fusion surgery. Following a year of excruciating sciatica pain and weakness, and having tried NSAIDs, steroids, PT, epiduerals and facet injections - it seemed we were out of options. After a ton of due diligence including consults with numerous surgeons and neurologists, discussions with hospital staff, patients who had similar procedures and people in the spinal medical device industry, Dr Liauw’s name and stellar reputation kept coming up. Now 6+ weeks out, it is clear we made the right decision. My husband’s sciatica pain is completely gone! The weakness is drastically improved and continuing to get better each week. We appreciate Dr Liauw’s precision and caring, conservative approach. Dr Liauw has assembled an amazing team. Alyssa handles all of the logistics and details. Haley and Tayler, his PA’s, are so responsive!!! They were helpful in managing expectations, making medication adjustments and patiently answering questions - always in less than 24 hrs. Highly recommend Dr Liauw and his team!!!
On my first consultation with Dr LIAUW h pointed out that they were going to do minimal evasive surgery on my back. This was a pleasant surprise. Although the first days after surgery were uncomfortable after that every day got better and better. Very shortly after surgery the pain went from a 7or 8 to after 6 weeks less than one and more flexibility Dr LIAUW feels it will continue to improve over the next year I hope it does but regardless my present condition is so so much better than before surgery Thank you. Dr Liauw
FANTASTIC DOCTOR AND STAFF
At age 88 and after nine months of excruciating sciatic pain following a previously failed, lower back surgery (L5-S1), Dr. Liauw rendered a second-opinion. I am impressed, for rather than relying solely on a radiologist's report, Dr. Liauw actually read interpreted the pertinent MRI. Dr. Liauw's surgery exceeded my wildest expectations, for now I have zero sciatic pain! Two nights in the hospital, then one day on a walker and cane, and now I am walking pain-free! How great to be alive! And Dr. Liauw also has a kind and caring staff. On top of that, he is a truly nice person. What better review can I give!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
