Jason Wong's Online Review Report Card

Dr Wong volunteered to assist my doctor during my surgery when unforeseen issues were exposed after I was cut open. I am so grateful to him and a second doctor for stepping in and working as a team to remedy the complication. When I was recovering Dr. Wong sent his nurse to check on me and make sure everything was okay. I was so touched and am forever grateful for Dr. Wong and Dr. O’Toole assisting in my surgery. If my doctor and these two hadn’t been able to work as a team who knows what the outcome could have been. Though I’ve never met Dr. Wong I am thankful for his generosity of skill towards me.

I only have high praise for Dr. Jason Wong who performed surgery on me in August 2019 and has continued to take good care of me. For someone who had never had major surgery before these waters were uncharted and I was scared. Yet, Dr. Wong's beside manner kept me calm and I knew I was in good hands. He is not only an excellent surgeon but also very kind and caring. He was always good when I brought my list of questions in and never rushed me. He took time to listen and answered all of them. He came highly recommended to me by two of my doctors plus friends who were his patients. I worked in the medical field for 25 years so when you get an excellent doctor you know it. I feel blessed Dr. Wong was my surgeon and can't begin to thank him and his staff enough for getting me through one of the hardest times in my life.

I had a horrible experience with Dr Wong, wasting eight (8) months, undiagnosed, with my condition & pain worsening. All Saddleback Memorial physicians I have met during stays in the hospital are brilliant! I also have several outstanding, brillant, dedicated, caring, physicians as my regular doctor's, within this Memorial group! Through lack of Wongs' care, diagnosis & lack of follow-up, one of my conditions, Stage 1 Barretts'Esophagus had developed. Wong told my husband my hiatal was small. Thankfully, the surgeon at HOAG told him, my hiatal was larger, that I was systematic, requiring surgeries. Wong had a terrible bedside manner, canceled one appointment, which I didn't know until I arrived for my appointment. I begged his assistants to please ask him to see me as I was in so much pain. At our last appointment he told hubby and I, he didn't know if he could help me, yet, never diagnosed me. I am thankful another skilled surgeon saved my life on what Wong missed!

I had Barrett's esophagus and a rather larger hernia. I was referred to Dr Wong for surgery. I was very impressed with his knowledge and wonderful bedside manor. He explained exactly what the procedure was, and what to expect as far as recovery and diet. He performed robotic surgery for the repair. I felt wonderful the day of surgery and continued to feel wonderful and never took any pain meds. I am 70 years old and this was a walk in the park! I highly recommend Dr. Wong!!

It is an honor and privilege to leave this review about Dr Jason Wong. Dr Wong has been my surgeon twice, 2015 and 2018. I know there are not enough "characters" here to say all I want to say about Dr Wong. I do know, I want to THANK YOU Dr Wong, for EVERYTHING you have done for me. I am forever grateful that our paths crossed! Dr Wong treated me with kindness, compassion and understanding. Thank you again Dr Wong!!

I wouldn't be here if it weren't for Dr. Wong! A skilled surgeon and doctor of the highest integrity, his concern for his patients is clearly evinced by his intense seriousness and attention to detail. One could not do better then to be attended by such a physician!

I would highly recommend Dr. Wong. He was very informative and listened and provided me with the answers to my concerns.

Ended up in the ER for the "worst stomach ache ever." After a few tests found out that my gallbladder was acting up and needed to be removed. I met Dr. Wong the day before my surgery. He explained everything to me in detail and answered all my questions. I knew I was in good hands. My surgery went well and my recovery has been fairly easy. My incision sites are healing and scarring will be minimum. Dr. Wong exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend him as a surgeon.

Dr Wong Did emergency surgery on me at Saddleback Hospital and Saved my life! He is so encouraging and I would recommend him to anyone He is an outstanding doctor! I didn't fill in "Ease of scheduling urgent appointments" because I met him in the hospital after my surgery......His bed side Manner was Awesome! I have been to his office 3 times and he never rushed me once.

Visited Dr Wong to schedule hernia repair. After my visit I was told that the office will call me to schedule my surgery. It's been 2 months and they have not not called yet.
